Lekker ontbijt, aardig personeel. Staat van de kamer slecht. Plekken in het plafond, behang niet netjes geplakt of komt los. Deur van de badkamer die niet past. Bed sliep dan wel weer lekker.

Plezierig verblijf bij De Zon

Hotel is op de begane grond met bar, cafe en restaurant goed opgeknapt. Gezellig en goede leestafel met kwaliteitskranten. Keuken restaurant is prima. Ontbijt god verzorgd met vers fruit en vers gebakken brood en krentemik. Prima koffie. Kamers zijn toereikend. Bed en kussen matig. Geen fohn. Sauna en solarium heb ik niet opgemerkt maar zou er moeten zijn. Hotel kan milieuvriendelijker werken door handdoeken, hoewel dun, niet dagelijks te vervangen.

Wij sliepen een nachtje in dit gastvrije hotel in Oosterwolde. Het hotel is misschien niet helemaal nieuw meer, maar de gastvrije ontvangst en een prima ontbijt maakten dat helemaal goed. Hoewel het hotel midden in Oosterwolde ligt heeft het een eigen parking voor de gasten. Ideaal. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Kamer was steen koud en ik kreeg de verwarming niet om hoog. Zat savonds met badjas aan. Warmwater duurde erg lang voor het mijn kraan bereikt had. Houten vloer en alles bewoog. Bed was zo zacht dat ik er twee keer bijna uitrolde. Alles was oud. Maar wat mag je verwachten voor die prijs.

The hotel gives a nice, easy-going, cozy feeling. Great location in a beautiful little town. The hotel has a bit of charm, but it is also quite outdated - though everything works fine. It was a bit too warm in the room (July).

Good hotel

Nice, clean and simple room. Came late and left early so not much more experience. Night portier (at another location) was very serviceminded, answered phone and guided me to deposit box with room key. Only negative was that heater in room was off, quite cold room and it took a few hours to get it warm. Staff apologized next day. Very good breakfast, friendly staff. In total very good value for money.

visa , mastercard, amex not accepted in the local eateries of which there are few, hotel thankfully does. I deal place for the assen circuit but not for tourist , a pity as hotel is good and the staff excellent
