We loved our time in the Northern Comfort Inn. The shared kitchen space is really nice with everything you need. Access to laundry was very helpful for us. The room was cute and everything was super clean. It is a great space and everything looks really nice inside! We would definitely come here again.

This is a unique property. The full kitchen is available for travelers to use to cook their dinner. If we had known, we would have brought some food to cook. Rooms were nice but there is a flight of stairs for all rooms. Keep that in mind. Nice laundry facilities which we made use of. Nice common sitting areas where we chatted with other travelers. It really is in the middle of nowhere but definitely a place to consider staying at. The man at check it was very helpful.

We were welcomed by two young women who could not have been friendlier. Amazingly, we quickly established rapport thru common interests, common travel experiences, etc. We must have visited with them for 20 min before heading to our room. The next morning, they were not immediately on duty, but when we left about 9:30AM or so, they made a special trip out to the parking lot to see us off. This property is a very neat, clean property, and we felt like honored guests by the end!

Cheap, clean and comfortable but very impersonal

If you just want a place to sleep this is fine. It’s cheap - especially in expensive Iceland - very clean and the rooms are warm and comfortable. However it’s very impersonal. There is no reception- you get an email with access code for front door and your room door. There’s a kitchen to prepare your own breakfast but nothing other than drinks are provided. Next time I would pay more and go elsewhere for a friendly welcome and breakfast.

Bel endroit propre et calme où nous avons passé une nuit. Les espaces communs sont agréables et pratiques. Toutefois la chambre est très petite, il n'y a pas d'ascenseur et la douche n'est pas fermée donc de l'eau se retrouve un peu partout.

Thought we would have real hotel comfort but the property was a bit old and not as scenic as review form hotel.com led to believe but it was clean and comfortable. S:hower curtain encompassed the toilet. a bit awkward.
