Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
My stay was not great from the beginning.
1. I messaged the property to let them know that I was experiencing delays and would not be able to check in until 4am but did not receive a response. I tried calling multiple times but no one answered.
2. When I arrived at the property, the lights were off and no security in site. I checked the property next door and was told that the property was closed for renovations. I ended up contacting Expedias customer service where they also were not able to get through to the property. I ended up having to pay to stay at the property next door.
3. At about 9:30am I decided to drive back over to the property hoping to get some answers. To my surprise there was a security at the gate whom directed me to the front desk. I explained what happened to the representative; they apologized and assured me they would refund the first night of my stay. I agreed and officially check in right there and then.
4. The room I received was not similar to the one in the pictures when I booked the room. The floor was dirty and the decorative pillows and blankets looked old to the point we did not use them.
5. Our breakfast was cold and too spicy for consumption.
6. Upon check out I followed up on my refund. I was shown a screenshot of it on their computer but to date I still have not received a email to confirm it. Both myself and Expedia have been trying contact the property via phone and email but still have not received a response or call back.
