Staff went above and beyond to accomodate my egg intolerance and procuring A1 sauce for my breakfast. Sun bed situation was atrocious, butlers claimed the vast majority of beds before 5:30 in the morning. Leaving limited choice for others especially if you wanted a sunshade.

The hotel was beautifully design and nicely maintained. The food and beverages were very good however can be improved by bring in some more healthy food as well and offer some more healthy smoothies and protein shakes. The members of staff are really friendly, polite and helpful and I believe it should be an option to add some tip at the time of check out to and tip account which all the members can receive it evenly. However if you are looking for a relaxing and winding down vacation maybe it is not a first choice of the resort but if you looking for buzzy and seeing crowds and people all around have lively evenings so you would love Sandals. Our favorite spot was Blum Cafe which serves you the best coffee on the planet and also the terrace the Rum Bar which serves you the best drinks and snack at the side of it. Hanami the sushi restaurant had also great menu.

This is a 2 part review 1st is how i felt about the property: If you love loud noise then the pool view is for you. I prefer quiet so i requested a change. I was given the mountain and gaden view on a higher level. That was perfect as the music in the lobby plays for hours and can be heard loudly inroom on lower levels. There are quite a few restaurants which were ok at best. The beach area is very small and lots of small stones in the beach. The pools are beautiful and the landscaping deserves a few awards. 2nd half is for the staff I had some trying times getting acclamated on my first night and the staff went above and beyond to assist with getting us adjusted. My most notable experience was the upper managements professionalism including Lenox ( mgt/dr guess services) and Rasheed ( mgt food n beverages) who both went above and beyond to make sure that our requirements were met on every level. They have a fun nightlife and overall the staff who i encountered were lovely.

10/10 Experience! Just left the Sandals Dunn River resort and I have to say—everything was top tier! The service was truly 10/10 from beginning to end. The staff made the experience unforgettable. Special shoutout to Tiana, Rebecca Jane, the amazing bartender Antionette, Donovan, Juwan, Bernadine, and the restaurant waiter-Tawana. I can’t remember everyone’s name, but these individuals stood out with their kindness, professionalism, and energy. They made us feel welcome, cared for, and truly on vacation. I’ll definitely be back—and recommending this resort to friends and family. Thank you all for making our stay so special!

Two words…truly exceptional! This was THE perfect vacation. All inclusive…amazing food and drinks, gorgeous resort, breathtaking views and wonderful people. This was like home away from home. My husband spoiled me with booking the Tufa Terrace Suite and it was worth every penny. Our butlers, Akeem and Fernando, went above and beyond. Sandal’s is the place to stay!!

Magnificent

I can’t express enough how fantastic the service, food, entertainment and overall quality of the resort. We were blown away! I want to say a special thank you to Melissa the GM, her attentiveness and customer care was exceptional. Massive shout out to chef Juan, chef Kevin and Chef Derrick - we requested authentic Jamaican cuisine and these guys delivered to such a high standard and made our stay so special. Cannot recommend this place enough. 10/10 all round

If you are a COUPLE looking for a relaxing get away, please save your money and go elsewhere. First off, way over crowded. They didn't have enough chairs/umbrellas for guests, people were waking up at the crack of dawn to claim a chair by the beach/pool then going back to sleep or leaving for hours! This resort had girls trips and adult families way more than couples. It was not a romantic or relaxing atmosphere at all. They seat you on top of each other in all of the restaurants to accommodate the over abundance of people. Loud club party music starts blasting at 11am until the middle of the night. Most staff was unwelcoming and we didn't get a part of our food orders many times. The restaurants were so slow and you had to wait 45 mins just to get your food which was unimpressive. The buffet was absolutely awful. It was the same every morning and as soon as you walk in your hit with the smell of rotting food. They leave raw meat, condiments like sour cream and mayo out in the 90/100 degree heat for hours. We got sick after most meals. Room service goes up and down the hall and other employees with loud carts the entire night where it jolts you out of a sleep its so loud. On top of it the staff is speaking just as loud in the hallways all night on their walkie talkies.Our room had no wifi at all. This was our first trip to Sandals, so disappointed and will not be returning.

We returned on Sunday from Jamaica and on our 7 days there we split our stay between two hotels- Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa and Sandals Dunn's River Fans Official. I’ll start with the positives: 1. the architecture was immaculate. We stayed in the Ocean View Mammee Bay room and we loved it. 2. The food at the restaurants (except the buffet) were superb quality and the drinks were even better. Now the negatives: TERRIBLE Customer service!!! The first happened at check in when the guy in the club room was looking up our reservation under my husband’s name even though I told him THREE times it was under mines (maybe in disbelief that I could book this resort). The second happened at the Sushi restaurant where we sat for 15mins without having any drinks or our order taken and the manager had to come over to help us( it was NOT) busy inside. We finally had a waitress who took our order and delivered it but when we ordered Saki she never returned. She didn’t even come back to ask how our meal was or if we wanted anything else. She just ghosted us. Third, the very next day at the buffet I asked the young lady making the smoothie what kind of smoothies were being served and her reply which sounded annoyed was “fruit”. We opted to go to Edessa for the remainder of our stay to avoid her terrible service. The elevator in our building kept going down and we were on the 5th floor and had to walk up and down FIVE flights of stairs everyday.
