This property is about a 25 min (fast paced) walk to the tourist areas. It feels safe, quite, more authentic, and has a beautifully run doggy daycare right next door. The staff are what made my stay here exceptional. They will go out of their way to help you, direct, and inform you, in English. It has many local tourists, rather than from other countries. The buffet breakfast is sublime and highly recommended. The bedrooms are ample. Thank-you for making my time in Oaxaca fell amazing.

The wifi worked at midnight, then I struggled to make a connection until 9 AM. The clerk said I should try a nearby coffee shop. Finally they found another router but it was a long wait from midnight to morning. Also there was the sound of pots or silverware in the morning,maybe they could modify the acoustics. Generally pleasant otherwise.

The hotel is not new it’s an older hotel. Everything is pretty old but the price is also pretty good. I really enjoyed staying here because the staff was so nice. Service was excellent. The front desk lady was so helpful and nice. It is about 15 min from the center but you can walk to the Main Street and get public transportation or a taxi.

My room was too small, very noisy within the hotel itself. The shower head needed to be adjusted so water did not flow onto the bathroom floor when the shower was turned on with the door open. TV was too small and required 2 remotes to operate. Unfortunately, even with satelite TV there were no English language channels. I found no staff that spoke English.

El hotel es lindisimo, de construcción típica mexicana y con habitaciones muy limpias. El centro de Oaxaca está a 40 minutos caminando y maximo 10 minutos en auto. El personal es muy amable.

Hotel muy pintoresco

Un hotel muy pintoresco y lleno de detalles. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y muy limpias, y hay muchos espacios para poder convivir. La ubicación es muy conveniente si llevas auto o en una distancia corta al centro en un taxi. Aunque no hay estacionamiento, el auto se puede dejar en la calle justo frente al hotel. Hay varios lugares con muy buena comida y en un barrio tranquilo

Algo ruidoso

Bonito y decorado hermosamente, pero muy ruidoso, se escucha el ruido de otros huéspedes y te piden q bajes a mover el auto si tiene q entrar o salir con quien compartes cajón.
