Excellent Stay

Wonderful place to stay! Host was great and the place was clean. Nice neighborhood, safe, and right near a good gas station. Will definitely stay next time I go back to Oakland.

wonderful stay beyond my expectations

My son and I stayed here because it was close to Northeastern University. I didn’t know what to expect. I will stay here anytime I plan a visit back. They were so kind to get us in an hour early when I called very last minute. The place is beautiful, spotless and roomy. I felt safe also. Even walked to dinner just a couple blocks away. My son had forgotten his toothbrush, but no worries, they had a tooth pack in the bathroom for him to use. They also provided soaps, mouthwash, lotion and plenty of clean towels. The bed was comfortable and there was a cute patio off the back with a view of the woods and a little stream. Even my teenage son was impressed and said he will refer anyone visiting him, to this rental.

The property was convenient for us. It was spotlessly clean. The small details were nicely thought out. The person who met us at the property was helpful and friendly. We have only one criticism: There is a wall between units that is not soundproofed. It needs to be. We were kept awake the entire first night by noise from the adjoining unit. Lots of people plus kids. The second night one of the kids (probably) was roller skating up and down the hallway in their unit. I went over and talked to them about it and they responded well. The skating stopped and we slept.

The entire place was very clean, no amenity was left out and lots of special touches. You could hear the next door neighbors, very lively and noisy. Management failed to notify us on two separate occasions that plumber/neighbor was shutting off the water. He knocked at the door to let us know. Management should have communicated this, not the plumber/neighbor. As a senior/older persons it made us feel unsafe. I did notify management of the plumber as well.
