"What can I say, other than this was one of the best hotel stays of my life. Perfect vibes - from the beautiful room with a view of the ocean, the beautifully maintained grounds filled with lush greenery, immaculate pools and direct beach access for snorkeling, kayaking, or just wandering. The staff were very friendly and attentive, really going above and beyond to ensure a relaxing experience. Food and drinks were high quality, especially for a smaller hotel. Dinner is prepared to order due to their small kitchen, but we found their booking system easy and accommodating during our stay. There is a small village about 10 minute walk from the hotel, with a grocer, some shops/vendor and additional food options. If you walk down the beach towards the river, there are more vendors, including a stand where locals sell fresh coconut and other fruit. The beach access with a gorgeous reef was definitely a highlight - bring your snorkel gear, or use their free gear! Maui Palms was the perfect getaway for a couple or small group looking for quiet luxury in a stunning tropical setting."
