Hotel Am Tiergarten, ideal for Nurburgring visit

Family run hotel, but large enough not to feel too in other people's pockets, perfectly nice for a few-night stay if you are visiting the Nurburgring track. Lovely restaurant attached run in association with (not by) the hotel (you have to pay separately - can't add bill to room bill, so I ran upstairs to get my wallet!). Fantastic steak on a hot stone (can't remember the name of it). Lovely meat, which you can cook yourself to your taste/style. I stayed one night, and it was ideal, quiet, comfortable, and a 5 minute drive to the Nordschleife entrance. And a 5 minute drive to the modern Grand Prix circuit main entrance and complex (a bit of a monstrosity itself, but that's another review) - see Save the Ring campaign....

Great for Nurburgring

I stayed here to do a track day on the Nurburgring. I was actually there less than 12 hours. I arrived in the evening and checked out the next morning. Everything was clean and neat for a quick nights sleep.
