Fantastic place.
It was a lovely place to stay, fantastic staff so helpful. Breakfast was great, hot and plenty.
Staff were fantastic! I know there are new owners taking over and would suggest that they try very hard to keep the staff because they go the extra mile and are so helpful and friendly
I never leave reviews but we were extremely satisfied with our stay here! We travelled all the way up from The Isle of Wight for a gig in Nottingham. Don't let the rundown exterior put you off because the interior was so nice and cosy. Room temperature was perfect, lots of supplies in the room. Quality for money was really good too, we didn't realise breakfast came included so that was a pleasant surprise. The man who ran the place was lovely and no request was a bother, he made us feel really welcome. 10/10 stay really recommend.
Our host was very welcoming. Showed us our room, which was perfect for our needs. Room 1 was chosen for us as it opened onto a garden /woodland area which our two terriers loved. We had a lovely one night stay, had a drink at Whitemoor pub, dinner was 'eating in' at the Aspey Fishbar opposite Tudor Lodge. Lodge was clean, warm, nicely furnished and a good size. Host was welcoming and friendly. Haven't had breakfast yet, but dont doubt itll be hot, tssty and plentiful.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Tudor lodge hotel. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue was we were in the lower ground front room so it was a little noisy. The room would also benefit from some privacy blinds as we kept the curtains shut because there was a bus stop right outside the window.
Overall okay. Room was nice, tv has netflix, prime and other streaming sites. However, there were large stains on the bedsheets- looked like bodily fluids. Location also isn't great, it is on a busy main road in quite a rough part of nottingham. Service was good though. Nice that they offer breakfast, but I didn't enjoy it to be honest- flavourless, looked like it was old. Was quite expensive for two nights, and don't think I would stay here again.
Old building with lots of character. We had a lovely room, with an original door. There were plenty of plug and usb sockets.
Be mindful the property is on a main road so have traffic noise. I thought earplugs with me.
Carolina was the perfect host and made us welcome, a real credit to the property. We prebooked breakfast for both days, it came out right on time and was delicious.
We would definitely stay again.
Thanks, Alina & Steve

On arrival, found entrance partially blocked with roadworks
After getting into room, discovered damaged bathroom/toilet door. Informed owner ,who nothing about it.
Owner informed me they were waiting for an arrival of cooling fans, exceptionally hot humid day, a fan was supplied later same day.
Breakfast excellent, could not fault it
