Find Hotels with a Pool in Northern Alberta

"The hot tub had grime in it. My finger easily wiped it off. The pool felt grimy too, and the slide was shut down. I felt that really should be updated on the advertisement as we chose this hotel for facilities. I used to bring my kids here years ago and it was a nice place, not so much now. Coming in to the hotel at 3 in the afternoon, my 2 year old grandson did what toddlers do, he screached out of excitement that the doors opened up, only to have the staff member get upset because people were sleeping. Also, the bed, at least the one in my room, was awful. My hisband and i had a terrible night sleep ans we were quite acky in the morning."

"The staff was wonderful. we arrived at 2a.m. to no hotwater in our upgraded club floor room, we waited until morning thinking that maybe it was just out after a long day in the hotel and we were exhausted by that point. waking up at 6a.m there was still no hot water.. letting the night agent Erin know she immediatedly checked the situation, got a card to a room with hot water and made it right as soon as she could. overall room was fairly clean... some extra needed to be done in the bathroom as there was a spot missed... but moreso the cooler water was an issue on our area of the hotel... we stayed three night I had 1 night of actual hot water. our shower curtain was ripped from the first grommet and hanging, and the vent above out shower was hanging by 1 screw... The final straw for me was when I hopped out of the shower fresh and clean to wrap up in a fresh towlel and unrolled one with a great big nasty rusty colored stain. none of this would have bothered me much in an older hotel... however when you pay an upgrade for the club floor... these kind of problems make a person not care to book that extra special space. Not sure I would stay again.. even if my event is happening in the hotel... "

"I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn in Grande Prairie. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax after a long day. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. "

"We went away for a last minute, short family getaway and settled on this hotel because it was affordable and offered free breakfast, and had a ‘games room’ that would make up for a lack of pool/hot tub. • When we arrived we found out there is no longer a games room/space, this was a disappointment. The front desk told us they can’t remove things from these sites so it gives false information. • Both night/evenings we could smell of pot. In our room. It was effecting all our ability to sleep and caused headaches. • The beds were not comfortable. We had a double queen room but felt more like a double. The bed frames not solid, so when anyone moved it was felt by all and would flip if you had too much weight on one end of the bed. Bedcovers are thin and the blankets were uncomfortable and extremely scratchy and almost sticky feeling. They were gross. • Room Temperature was inconsistent. The first night it was too hot and the next night it was chilly. • We were in a south facing first floor room and we didn’t have much for street or highway noises there. • Breakfast was pretty normal for continental. Waffles with assorted berries and toppings. Other hot items were tater tots, sausage, bacon, eggs, chicken nuggets. The bacon was amazing, thick not that thin stuff! Tots should be checked often, as they were stale. Other easy to go items available were yogurts, cereals, toast, bagels, muffins, pastries, bananas and oranges. Decent array of beverage options. "
