"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not included. Heated floor in the bathroom was lovely, toilet paper roll was a huge stretch from the toilet, too far for a child or a small adult. Room darkening drape was unhooked from the draw mechanism and the A/C was very loud. But nothing which would prevent us from staying another time."

"I had a family member suddenly in hospital ICU in a city over an hour away. I tried calling the Cambridge Best Western I was booked at later in the night to make sure my room would still be available if I arrived very late at night. I am assuming it was AI that I was speaking to, who would not help me check the reservation or let me talk to anyone at the hotel because I was told bookings are done online and the hotel does not talk directly to people for privacy reasons. I only had an itinerary number for the booking and it kept telling me it was the wrong number and there was no record of my booking. It repeatedly told me to recheck my reservation which I could not do because I was travelling plus I did not have my laptop with me. I called the hotel phone number listed online three different times with the same result. I took a chance and drove the hour drive. When I arrived I found there were no Accessibility Parking spaces available because they only have two. It was pushing midnight and it was raining. I had to park at the back of the hotel and walk with my belongings and using a cane around to the front door. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and apologized for the inconvenience. She gave me a card with the hotel phone number and informed me that when pressing 0 I would connect to the front desk where she is. I told her that was the number I used and 3 different times it did not connect me. It was all very frustrating after a very challenging day."

"Lobby is bright and inviting along with corridors. Check in was easy and staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet overnight. Breakfast was good; a small selection that was adequate. We did not use the exercise room but it looked bright and inviting. Parking was easily accessible and spaces felt ample and not squeezed in. Room itself felt up-to-date. Bathrooms are adequate but all have tub/shower combos. It would be great to see some of them updated to walk in showers for anyone with mobility issues. "

"We stayed overnight as we were attending a concert in Hamilton. Excellent choice. All of the staff at the hotel and restaurant were extremely considerate and helpful. Offered us an easy walking route to the concert from the hotel. As I have mobility issues, the staff in the restaurant were kind enough to seat us close to the buffet. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming into Hamilton. Great location!!"

"Not only was my room very clean, the furniture was very new and the shower had zero mold. I was very impressed with the gym also as there are two different types of bikes for me to use for exercise. There’s a very nice restaurant on the premise and five different family restaurants in the neighbourhood within walking distance. Although it was a little at away from where I was doing my work, it was really a nice peaceful property and made my stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is going to be staying three or four nights in Hamilton and wants a full service and clean property at a reasonable price."
