We stayed here on 2 separate nights in 2 separate rooms. The bed in the second wasn't as comfortable but they were both clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were dated but what you would expect for a budget hotel. Could probably do with some more lighting as both rooms were quite dark.

It's a historic scoolhouse that was turned into a hotel more than 70 years ago and been in the same family since. As a result, it is old but in excellent repair and very clean. My room was good size with about 11' coffered ceilings that helped visually give more space. I could hear some road noise and the people next door, but it wasn't terribly loud. Overall, it was a nice place to stay due to the cleanliness and convenient location. I stayed for three nights, and I would do it again.

If you're expecting a 5 star hotel with impeccable amenities, lofty comforters, premium bedding and modern bathrooms, School House Inn will not satisfy you. But if you're okay with generously-sized rooms, clean linens, vintage decor, a quick shower and the charm of knowing you're staying in an old school house/roadside motel, then this is the motel for you. The staff was nice and accomodating and when I had called prior to our stay to ask a couple of questions, the staff member was very knowledgeable, proud of his hometow and we chatted like we had been friends for years!

Cute little motel no frills motel in a great location! Very old school place but quaint and clean. However coffee pot didn’t work and I called the office but the girl there didn’t seem to care. And they didn’t have coffee in the office either.

Owner is very pleasant, area is very convenient, it felt clean and safe. The room could have used possibly one more lamp near the door for better lighting and the TV could be a little lower on the wall but those aren't deal breakers just my opinions. Would stay again for sure.

Couldn’t have been any more cozy. Cabin was private and roomy. Bathroom was spotless and the staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend for a quick getaway or an extended stay.

I’ve stayed here before on a couple of my annual summer visits. It’s been around along time and it’s updated and very clean. Most of all it’s very reasonably priced. The host was very accommodating and helpful.

Cabin 26 was perfect for a quick couples getaway. The AC worked great while we had hot summer days. The view from the balcony was great too! Loved the quaint, old school charm of this place! The gentleman at the front desk was very nice as well and offered recommendations

This is one of my favorite places to stay. The place has been relaxing, quite and just 100% accommodating w anything they could do. I have really enjoyed my stay and I actually booked an extra few days because I have had such a wonderful time. There is plenty to do, there is plenty of places to eat. This place is amazing !!!! A huge thank u to the staff and maintenance. Hope to see you again

Room was clean, toilet was not. Comfortable bed and eye pleasing decor. Air conditioning worked great, awesume view of the mts. Housekeeping upon request. Front desk will take the trash and get you ice.
