Excellent

The rooms were nice and spacious. The view from ours was great! Staff very friendly and welcoming. The only complaint on my end was the buffet wasn’t anything to write home about in comparison to other hotels we stayed in throughout Japan.
Located in a beautiful area; excellent Kaiseki dinner & breakfast buffet; outdoor onsen with beautiful view; able to walk to small town for shopping/dining
We had the Japanese style room. It’s a great cultural experience. The setting is not for everyone, since almost everything is on the floor. But we enjoyed it and having a lot of fun taking pictures. It’s a 5 minutes walk from the Hell Valley and the shopping street. Some of the great trails to walk around the lakes and to the foot bath stream. Lots of options for breakfast buffet.
The Onsen is really amasing, you need to stay at least two nights in order to enjoy the two different onsen inside. The buffee dinner is also wonderful. It is worth to stay in this hotel.
The onsen facilities are amazing. Buffet selections are good too. Staff is very helpful, even helping me to book a relatively cheap express bus to go to sapporo from the hotel.
This hotel is my new favorite hotel. It is understated yet manage to wow me in every aspect. The staff are extra nice. Omi san who practically does the front desk and interpreter went above and beyond to help. He was patient yet thorough. We will definitely return.
The onsen was lovely and staff were very accommodating and kind. We were in a traditional room which had broken cabinets and in need of repair and renovation. There was only one coin laundry machine which is surprising for such a large hotel.
Nice and big hotel that is great for tourists. Very walkable to Hell Valley yet far enough to not smell the sulfur. We had our own private onsen tub in the room, and the public one was nice as well. Amazing breakfast buffet selection, I highly recommend to include that in your booking.
We booked a room with a private bath. I liked that the bath is ready when you arrive. Felt very luxurious. The staff were very hospitable. The dinner buffet was interesting. Lots of variety.
Very nice hotel with a good hot springs facility on the second floor. I chose the traditional Japanese room and that was spacious and very nice. Quiet area and the hotel was quiet as well.
The hotel could benefit from a facelift, but all in all it was good
Hotel was very good overall. The hot baths were exceptional. There was a lack of restaurants in use for such a high quality hotel and the one in use had a very limited menu. The breakfast buffet was extensive but not always to our taste. Bed very comfortable.
