Host was great. Loved the space, very cozy, amazing location, bedrooms super comfortable. Only minor issue is that dishwasher was out of commission during our stay.
It was such a quaint place and close to everything! There were 5 adults staying at Captains Quarters. We loved the large front veranda where we spent our evenings. The living spaces were comfortable and dining area was large and comfortable for all of us. Highly recommend this property
Absolutely adored our stay here! The house (though an older home) is well maintained and immaculately kept. It was a wonderful experience being so close to the main street a few steps away from anything we could need on our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway in NOTL, Captains Quarters was a perfect home for our group. Great location and we lavked for nothing, kitchen was fully equipped and bedrooms were clean and bright. Overall a wonderful experience ✨️
We’re three retired friends on our girl’s trip and couldn’t have picked a better place. The cottage was charming, well equipped and a great location. Walked to Queen St regularly for meals and shopping. Also within great travel distance to area sites. Will more than likely be back in the future.

Cozy but spacious home with the most perfect location in Niagara On the Lake. Steps to downtown shopping but also close to the water. Home was very clean, communication was excellent and we loved sitting around the fireplace and enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would definitely stay here again!
Just as described. We especially enjoyed the warm, cozy blankets in each bedroom. Had a hard time getting in the front door night but after a call, Jason arrived within minute help. Thanks! We woystay again.
We wanted somewhere comfortable that 2 couples could share for an evening of quiet respite, sipping wine after touring the vineyards and taking in the main street lined with shops and restaurants. The porch was a welcoming space for taking in the evening spent with our friends.
This place had everything we wanted.
Location perfect. Walking distance to everything. Check-flawless. Check-out flawless. We didn’t cook, but appliances appeared functional. We will go back. Very happy.
We travelled to NOTL with our adult children to celebrate together for a few days between Christmas and New Year. We are from Michigan USA and they live in Rochester NY, USA. NOTL was a charming city with many vineyards, breweries, shops and restaurants. Captains Quarters was a comfortable, cute home in a perfect location to explore the downtown. Parking on site allowed easy access to travel to nearby spots. Loved our visit and would happily return in any season. Management was professional and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend all around!
Captain's Quarters is in a perfect location--near the downtown and the lake. The home is well appointed with everything one would need. The kitchen is up to date and has all the utensils, etc for cooking. The front porch is a great place to hang out, either sitting on the wicker settees or having a snack/libation at the table. The manager responded promptly to a minor concern--couldn't figure out how to operate the shower. All in all, I would rate Captain's Quarters outstanding.
This was an amazing location and the house was lovely except for the front porch was in need of a deep cleaning and updated furniture - cushions well past their time! Master bedroom comforter had a blood stain - so not impressive! Finally - check out time is 10:30 am - while having our last coffee on the front porch it turned into "grass cutting time" - could have waiting until your guests had left - had to move inside in order to hear each other!!
Kitchen was very well stocked and for the most part the house was great!
Overall, we loved this place. Pros: The location was excellent, close to everything in NOTL, but off the main drag so it was much more peaceful. The house was very clean and we loved the front porch. Parking was very easy and there was plenty of room in the driveway. A few minor notes for improvements: the living room furniture was oddly laid out and the décor was... non-existent. It felt underwhelming and not in line with other properties we've rented in NOTL. The space itself is large but not well-utilized. The kitchen also could use some additional amenities, like more wine glasses and an updated microwave. Overall, I wish this felt more of a cozy, cute spot, but the location makes this a nice pick for your next NOTL trip.
