"We were offered a larger room (on the first floor) upon check in. I had inquired about getting a second floor room, but was told that there were non available. We were put in a handicapped accessible room that was not clean. There were whit dog hairs all over the small navy blue sofa. Additionally, there were multiple hairs (human ones) all over the wet bar /counter area & the tub. The shower curtain liner was stained with God know what. There were bars all over the place. I requested a room change on Saturday morning and “all of a sudden “ there was a sector room available. This is when I got upset. I had been lied to the night before. My husband did not think that the place was that full. It ended causing stress to us and we got into a fight over this. Thus ruining our first ski getaway together in over 33 years. The staff did try to make it right with a cute hearts shaped out of towels and some candy that was left in our new room along with an apology note. "

"Great place Great view Great service. Great value. We could not use the Hot Tub on Sunday as the previous renter left it dirty but everything was fixed on Monday. Unfortunately the following days snow on the roof started to melt and given that there are no rain gutters, cold water is falling throug the balcony on the spa. We have not used it at all. Something should be done so it can be used at all Time. It would be great also to have window blinds in the basement bedroom. We are looking forward to rent it again and we recommend it. PJ"

"Location was great. Easy to Sunday River and cross country skiing/snowshoeing. Views and hot tub were great. Kitchen is well appointed and having two ovens was great with a big crew. Bedrooms upstairs are very choppy and strangely situated (have to go through some bedrooms to get to others) but not a big deal. We would have loved to have a fire but it was obvious that the owners did not permit that (no fire wood anywhere in house, garage, deck, etc. and a totally clean fire place without evidence of recent fires). We enjoyed our stay."
