This is our second stay at Clemens Beach House and it didn’t disappoint. Great accommodation and location to the village and local walks. Highly recommend.
The property is excellent, everything you need for a relaxing week. The location is perfect a 5 min walk to the beach, it is a hill walk. Friendly host met others members of the family all very lovely. Perfect week and a perfect host. Thanks Ali x
The apartment was amazing, very spacious, warm and cozy with a nice view of the sea.
Great beach and coastal walks only 10 minutes from the property.
Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and peaceful break.
5 stars...
Couldn’t recommend Clemens Beach House enough! Beautiful house, well furnished with all you’d need, great location 5 mins walk from a fabulous beach and 2 mins from a couple of good pubs!
Ali and Freddie are great hosts who couldn’t be more welcoming!
Lovely cottage, great location. Only 7 mins walk to the beach and less to the village where there a 2 pubs and a pizza place. Cottage was very clean and had a great outside space which was enclosed. Owner was very helpful and friendly
We have been coming here for 3 years and it's amazing every time we come back. Alison the owner is amazing and the cottage is perfect. We love our time here as a family and the view is spectacular. Will be coming back for many years to come.
Well appointed & presented
Clean, modern property
Excellent location within village
Wonderful access to beaches & coastal walks
Alison was a great host
Will revisit in future
Crantock is conveniently located within easy travelling distance to other areas of interest for dining/ pubs/ walks/ beaches
Lovely crantock property that represented a home from home for me and my family for a week. Fitted out to a high standard with some lovely touches like a hot outdoor shower for us when we came back off the beach (including the dog).
always made to feel welcome, amazing location and views. For us feels like a home from home, been here for the past two years and already planning next years trip
Fantastic place, great location, clean plenty of space , outside shower too..!! If you’re looking for a great place to stay with a warm welcome, close to the beach, right by the pub, fantastic walks, just about everything without having to drive .. this is it.! Highly recommend book now
This really is a gem of a property, clean, well equipped for full self catering, and Ali is a great host, we loved the welcome home made scones & jam and the prosecco. We had a great time, didn't need to use the car at all taking long walks on the beach and along the South West Coast Path. Only thing missing was a magnificent sunset, so we need to go back!
We have just returned from a fabulous break. The property was amazing and had everything we wanted and more!
Super clean with incredible views from upstairs.
The hosts were lovely and the scones and Prosecco on arrival were just what the doctor ordered after our long trip down from Yorkshire.
The location is perfect for explorers or those who don’t want to venture far as everything you might need is within walking distance.
I cannot rate this place highly enough - we hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for making our first trip to cornwall amazing.
What a lovely place to stay, the accommodation was fantastic, very clean and comfortable and a great central place to visit Cornwall. Alison was a lovely host and surprised us with homemade scones and jam and a lovely bottle of prosecco. Crantock village is small but so quaint, there are 2 pubs but we used The Cornishman which was great; friendly staff and manager and the meals were tasty and reasonably priced, there are 2 other bars a short drive away; Bowgie Inn and C-Bay bar which had a fantastic view of Crantock bay, we had a tasty lunch and breakfast at C-Bay. Crantock beach is beautiful and surprisingly large which the dog thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely recommend Clemmens and Crantock as a fabulous place to stay, we loved it and will definitely return.
The Beach House is in a fabulous location for the beach and for many walks, it is very well equipped and the decor is of a high standard and very clean.
My only criticism is that the second bed is at the top of the stairs a main thoroughfare so not much privacy for anyone sleeping there and not much storage space for clothes etc. My fault for not noticing in the pictures.
Despite that we had a lovely stay the host was welcoming and left us some beautiful homemade scones with cream & jam plus a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch.
Fabulous place to stay great location very pretty village beautiful beaches I was visiting my son and grandsons
I had my 6yr old grandson staying and worked perfectly plus I had my little 8 month old Westie
Kitchen was filled with everything you need you really do not need to take anything with you it all there.
Beautiful views from lounge window basically everything you see in the official photos is how it is .
Lovely quality bedding & towels
5 min walk to Crantock beach I just had a fabulous time .
Ali is just so lovely and so helpful she left homemade scones jam & cream and a bottle of Prosecco such a lovely touch.
Ali also allowed me a late check out lucky for me there was no one in on my day of leaving .
I would definitely recommend this accommodation & at some point I will rerun
Thank you Ali 💝
We have just had a lovely week at Clemens beach house. We have stayed in Crantock most years but usually in a caravan, but our teenage son is growing by the hour and too long for the beds, so we decided to try a cottage. We are so glad we did, it was beautiful.
The view from upstairs in the living area is stunning and you have so many amazing walks literally on the doorstep.
We sampled both village pubs for dinner and both were lovely. People friendly and food was delicious, we also tried the Bowgie and that was beautiful.
The village shop is convenient and again all staff were friendly.
My two dogs loved it here and spent lots of time on Crantock beach, which is beautiful.
Ali and Freddie were so nice, with two teenage boys who can be a bit heavy footed, the hosts never complained and were happy let the boys play ball in the drive way.
Anything we needed Ali was a text away and very responsive. The house has everything you need, it’s clean and well organised. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy! I have not slept through the night in years, I did here! We now want a new mattress! We would definitely recommend and stay again.
Thank you to Ali and Freddie for hosting us in your beautiful home and sharing a little slice of heaven in beautiful Crantock.
As always our stay is like being at home, made to feel very welcome. The cottage has every comfort we need and is in an ideal perfect location. Will be coming back again
