We were three pals on a quick golf trip to Newport. Perfect with a two bedroom suite and three beds, (two singles in one room and a double in the main room). Located on a quiet street, with off street parking and a short walk to the waterfront and Newport restaurants and activities.

B & B close to everything

Our suite was large and comfortable, furnished with an eclectic but attractive mixture of Victorian antiques and modern furniture (brown leather sofa, older mirrored side tables etc). Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, manager John was helpful and informative.

Roomy comfortable centrally located in Newport, RI

This is a charming inn. The staff was so friendly. The room was spacious, but most importantly, it was spotless. There were four of us and the Parkview had multiple rooms in this suite for us to sleep in and relax. The breakfasts were great. Can't say enough good things. We would definitely stay there again.

We'll Be Back!

Our stay at the Bell View Inn was very enjoyable, and we would stay there again. Our host, John, called me on the morning of our arrival, asking about our needs, and if there was anything he could do for us. So accommodating, and welcoming. The phone call was a nice touch! Our room was clean and comfortable for a couple of nights, but as it was the cleaning person's day off, things were not emptied or replenished, which we found a bit annoying. The inn itself, is within walking distance of the downtown waterfront, and home to many shops and restaurants. The Bellevue Mansions are a mile away, and Ocean Avenue is nearby, and a must see. Bell View Inn is in the heart of all of this, and is a great place to start every morning.

Great location. Walked everywhere, even back from our mansion tour. Supermarket, liquor store across street. Multitude of restaurants in area. Very enjoyable destination.
