I loved this stay! Steps to the piers and I loved the room details and salt and stone amenities! The bar was breathtaking and very quiet so I could truly relax during my stay.
Stayed 2 nights and would stay again. Rooms are small but well stocked and clean. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and made check in a breeze. My room didn't have a tv remote and they had a new one sent up within 5 minutes. Great for solo travelers and parking garage that is easy to access nearby.
Great Attention from all staff especially Mr Frank
In an area well conected by subway
The room is little bit small however it is according to the price
What a beautiful hotel. Very well located, all the places are beautiful. I needed a nice place to stay and with good spaces to work from, and it was the perfect combination.
Excellent modern boutique hotel
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros:Very new, modern, and clean boutique design.
Excellent bunk bed setup that my young nieces loved.
Super nice and helpful staff.
Safe surroundings.
24/7 7-Eleven just one block away.
Note: The rooms are small, but they are perfectly fine if you just need a good, comfortable place to sleep and rest!
Small but perfectly functional room. Common areas were clean, smelt lovely, and very useful.
Housekeeping was pretty lame. Took towels and didn’t replace them. Didn’t replenish bottled water.
While the rooms are very small, they are very clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of coffee shops, CVS locations, and gyms nearby. The hotel gym is excellent. It has several machines, Peloton bikes, free weights, and a step machine. The lobby, work area, and patio are excellent. I was able to take Zoom calls in the work area on the 2nd floor and outside on the patio courtyard. There is a coffee/bar area. I didn't try the coffee shop/bar area because I wanted to explore the area, and they did not offer non-dairy alternatives. But the food looked good, the bar is nice, and the staff is friendly. My conference was at the PAC, and it was within walking distance.
I enjoyed my stay at Little Something! It was close to an A Train station, and lots to do nearby. The staff was very very friendly and helpful (the woman with curly hair and glasses during the day, and the older gentleman and tall woman during the evening!) The lobby also smelled amazing when we arrived. The room is quite small but expected in NYC. The one important info we wish we knew was the shower head is a rainfall shower, and we did not want our hair wet so it was very hard to shower properly. There is a detatachable showerhead but only one setting (jet) which was s powerful and made water splash everywhere. Besides that, we had no other complaints for the hotel and would definitely return again for a quick NYC stay!

The location of Little Something is great! The room was a bit disappoint. We had booked a queen room. The bed was find, we appreciated the soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc., but paying as much as I did for the room and not having a full length mirror or a trash can in the room seemed ridiculous. The TV was unwatchable due to the incessant glitching, and the AC was incredibly loud. In the bathroom we noticed that there were white dusty smears on the walls due to a poor grout job, and exposed wires on the ledge next to the door upon entry, which, again, seems ridiculous for the price. The toilet paper holder does not hold the toilet paper well and the roll fell off each time. The bathroom door didn’t stay shut, and the bed is structured with a protruding corner that my boyfriend kept stabbing his head on. It just seems like a weirdly rushed and thoughtless job done for the sake of opening as soon as possible. It’s as if someone bought up a boutique hotel, spent ten minutes working on it just charge a fortune for the bare minimum. Bummer.
The pictures of the room/ hotel are exactly what you get in-person. It's very modern, clean, comfortable and absolutely perfect for a solo traveler. I am a minimalist and I loved the design of the desk/ chair in my room. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and it was also very convenient that the hotel was a short walking distance away from a subway station.
The hotel staff were incredibly nice and helpful anytime I had ran into them, either in the hallway, elevator or when I'd arrive at the hotel late after leaving my card in my room. Though, I did leave behind my electric water flosser and electric toothbrush. I contacted the staff in hopes to get it back but they informed me that housekeeping had not found it. My conclusion is that it was either thrown away by mistake or taken home by someone else that found it. At the end of the day it was my fault because I had left it behind but I was hoping for a different outcome given the positive experience I had prior.
There was a design flaw that I noticed in my room. (Room 410) The hook to hold my towel was on the opposite end of where the shower door opened. It's definitely an easy fix and I found it a bit funny that someone didn't think of that when they installed the door.
Besides the unfortunate instance of me forgetting my items/ not getting it back, plus the design flaw of the towel hook, my stay was absolutely fantastic. I'd definitely come here again and would recommend this place to anyone.
Sadly I can not in good faith recommend anyone to stay here
We had booked a ‘ queen city view room ‘ for a few days for my birthday - and frankly I couldn’t wait to check out.
1. Found someone’s black hair in the bed / pillows
2. Booked a ‘ queen city view room’ , initially put in a ‘corner room’ opposite a roof top bar . Noise was ridiculous , we had to change rooms in the middle of the night and were told by the maintenance man this goes on until 2am !
3. The room we were then moved to was opposite some sort of plant room , air con wasn’t working properly , drilling going in a courtyard outside our window and again just constant noise noise noise
4. When I attempted to talk to various staff about issues encountered the customer service was sub par and and the only option on offer was to play musical rooms and move again which we declined
5. The rooms are tiny , 1 person maximum , we are 2 slight people and we’re falling over each other
6. The layout of the room is so poor I am absolutely covered in bruises from trying to get in and out the wooden hard bed frame
I left exhausted and fed up !
Great place if you’re doing things in lower Manhattan or easy subway uptown. We paid a sm fortune for the holiday weekend for a very cute, clean but tiny room.
Maybe every room in NYC is small and we did expect it to be but it realllly was small. The room could be rearranged better with maybe shelves or more hooks? We wouldn’t return here. Our favorite part was the bartender Mingma! He was fantastic!
This hotel is clearly very new, and some teething troubles are understandable. Unfortunately, the poor welcome, lack of responsiveness and uncomfortable room design made for a disappointing stay.
Before arriving, I contacted the hotel four times through Expedia and sent two emails to request allergy-friendly, feather-free bedding. After receiving no response, I eventually had to call and wait on hold for 15 minutes before the request was addressed. The housekeeping staff were wonderful—kind, helpful and meticulous—and had prepared the room correctly by the time I arrived. However, a guest with a serious feather allergy should not have to make this much effort to secure safe bedding.
My arrival was even more troubling. The handle broke off the hotel’s large entrance door and struck me hard in the leg. When I went inside, the front-desk staff simply asked me to wait, and I had to interrupt them to explain that the door had just injured me and that I needed first aid. The response felt rude and distinctly unwelcoming, particularly given what had happened.
The room itself also prioritizes appearance over comfort. Bright nightlights remain on throughout the night, the room is extremely noisy, and the window shades are effectively see-through. The bed has been raised high enough to accommodate suitcases underneath, but at five foot four, I found it genuinely difficult to get in and out of and bruised my thighs doing so.
There are some lovely touches: the steamer and hairdryer a
