Not good

The hotel's entire second floor is leased by NYC to house homeless families. This would be no problem except there were numerous shouting matches between the staff and the families. Also the security guards were a little unnerving: why do homeless families need security guards? My room was visited by housekeeping on my first day. The bed was not changed, only made. They left me with NO towels, NO toilet paper, no coffee (and that day's coffee was not cleaned out of the coffee maker), etc. Breakfast was close to inedible. I didn't even try to eat it after the first day. Cold watery scrambled eggs, hard, dry, black sausage links...the families from the second floor yelling at their children. Oh and yes, they have free parking but only 12 parking spaces

Easy to get to Manhattan by D train (station within 5-minute walk) which is an Express and zooms to the main island in less than 20 minutes. The bedroom was awfully small with on bed (comfortable bed thou) almost blocking access to the bathroom!

Great for a night stay in Brooklyn

I needed a room a night in Brooklyn close to the R subway line. This hotel worked great! The priced caught my eye. The check in staff was very friendly and fast. My room was clean and comfortable. All the staff I ran into the next day was also very friendly. I will stay there again next time I'm in town!

Gostei muito da minha estadia no Comfort Inn, depois de um voo longo, um chuveiro e uma cama confortável era tudo o que eu precisava, e foi o que encontrei no hotel. O check in e out foi rápido e sem complicação. O café da manhã foi muito bom e completo. A vizinhança não me pareceu ser muito segura, mas fiquei somente uma noite e não tive nenhum problema.

Barely Acceptable !

The price was a little high for the quality of the hotel.The carpet and sofa in lobby were filthy.I did not receive a warm welcome. It was more that I was looked upon with a suspicion. Even as one evening I went to the breakfast area for some utensils,I happened to look up and there was the front desk clerk watching me. Maybe she wanted to be sure I didn't take too many napkins!

Good Hotel, safe area, only two blocks from subway, great Hot Breakfast. Staff was a little bit rude specially breakfast lady. Hotel says they have parking but only 9 spots then you have to find parking on street.

Missing a few promised things like beach & shuttle

Though the listing claims an airport shuttle ($65 round trip) it absolutely does NOT exist. This hotel is in the south part of Park Slope, south Brooklyn, industrial and a bit sketchy. It is nowhere near a beach. The WiFi is strong and free, the free breakfast weak. The room was clean. The fridge was a freezer, making everything solid within hours. Water pressure was minimal, but hot lasted forever.

Séjour au Comfort Inn

Première nuit passée dans une chambre au -1, chambre petite et très sombre.. Dès le lendemain matin, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre et à être dans une chambre à l'étage car nous avions l'impression d'être dans une cave. Ils nous ont changé la chambre sans problème et dès le soir, nous étions dans une chambre au 3ème étage qui était un peu plus grande, avec un plus grand lit, et qui était beaucoup plus lumineuse. Lit très confortable et spacieux, serviettes de bains changées tous les jours. Pour le petit déjeuner, il n'y a que 6 tables et l'espace est très restreint, ce n'est pas assez pour tout un hotel. Cependant, il y avait du pain de mie, des bagels, des donuts, des beignets, des céréales, des gaufres, des yaourts, des oeufs brouillés, des saucisses.. Il y avait du choix! Hotel situé à 3min à pied de l'arrêt de métro et c'était un vrai plus, les lignes vont autant dans le sud que le nord de manhattan (30 à 45min). Hotel situé à coté d'un mac do 24/24, d'un dominos pizza, burger king et autre.. Dans l'ensemble nous étions satisfaites de ce séjour, même si l'hotel est un peu loin du centre de manhattan. Le quartier peut sembler glauque aux premiers abords mais finalement nous n'avons jamais eu aucun soucis, même en rentrant tard le soir en métro.

Be cautious about the so called free parking

The description says free parking but it actually means YOU HAVE TO FIND YOUR OWN FREE STREET PARKING. Never wanna stay at this hotel again. Everything else is just like a normal hotel, but does not worth the money.

Check in was time consuming and strange. The coffee maker did not work. There were no wash cloths. The carpet had debris and there were empty wrappers under the desk. There was a strange smell. Awful neighborhood/location.

Great stay in convenient location..

Great accomodating staff and clean hotel. It's a six year old hotel with not very many frills. However, it's two blocks too the beltway where you can connect with every part of the city either driving or by bus or train. We rented a car and it was literally 15 minutes to almost anywhere. Hotel Parking was limited but street parking was always available free of charge out front. My only complaint was that there was no fitness center so I had to get up early each morning and drive to Planet fitness in Bensonhurst..still only a ten minute drive. Rooms are very small and price is a little high for what it is and no fitness center. We are going back there again at the end of the week before heading back to Florida.

nice hotel close to the subway

this hotel was decent. 1 block away from the subway taking you and your group anywhere. the bad things were the room size, tv didn't work that well and when was working the tv's were fuzzie and air conditioning was a bit bad. however in a decent location and eat to get around.

Tiny basement room for $200/night. Gross vibe -- everything felt dirty. Found other people's hairs in my bed. Coffee machine didn't work. There was a weird thing hanging from the ceiling with a black plastic bag over it (a sprinkler? No idea). The walls were PAPER-THIN and I heard a couple doing it in the early morning -- it sounded like they were literally in the room with me. The maids did not come by to clean my room or change my sheets the next day. I checked out a day early even though I'd already paid for a 2nd night because I disliked the hotel that much. The free breakfast was good, however. Lots of items and hot choices as well (waffles, scrambled eggs, etc.)
