Loved the quaintness of this hotel. The staff at the front desk were phenomenal. We had a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant, Compere Lapen. This is a James Beard awarded restaurant. Our room was huge, with hardwood floors which were somewhat slanted. After all the building is very old. Would definitely return if we come back to New Orleans.
Great staff… and what a great place to stay! Sure, the bones are old, but it’s history is what defines this place…
It’s close to anything you’d want to do, yet far enough away from the antics of Bourbon St to allow you experience the city. Beyond the dining & bar options in the hotel, you’re just minutes away from other great eating places, as well as short walks to bus/trolley access.
Great location and boutique property. Cute rooms. No coffee makers in rooms FYI! The connected restaurant is outstanding. Enjoyed our stay here very much!!
Our stay at Old No. 77 Hotel was outstanding as usual.
The Staff made us feel very special and Welcome.
Our Anniversary stay in New Orleans will be remembered 🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉
Room was very clean and comfortable. My only negative comment is it was very dark—the entire room was too dark to put on makeup well no matter where I went or what lamp I moved. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the overall atmosphere was great. I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel was amazing, staff was friendly, location is perfectly away from the crazyness of Canal st, but not too far that it was annoying to get anywhere fun. Only draw back was the wooden floors where if you drop somwthing the whole hotel hears it. Shower/bathroom wasnt the greatest but it works. Overall would stay here again.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Old No. 77 Hotel! It was very clean, the property was maintained very well! It is located very close to all the main streets making it easy to walk to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this place to all our friends and family!
Quaint hotel with a lot of old speak easy charm and decor. Had one of the best lattes ever at their small coffee bar! We did not eat at the restaurant due to time but it was busy and looked casually elegant with a unique menu. Rooms are very clean and we had a spacious two - bed room. A couple of things that made me pick a 4 star (4.5 if I had the option) vs 5 star. There was no refrigerator in our room which may have been provided if asked for (not sure) but we didn’t; it just would have been convenient to have and the other was the beds were smaller doubles (barely a full) which were small. Queens would have been nice. This is definitely worth a stay if traveling as a couple!
