Best location in our opinion. It’s close to everything, yet a little on the outer area of Göreme which comes with a quiet area and good parking. Very nice patio and rooftop terrace. Loved our stay.

Everything about this place was excellent. My wife and I only came for one night but they where very respectful and helpful, they have an excellent breakfast 🍳. They have a grand view for sunset, and balloons. Will definitely come and stay here again

The hotel was very charming and the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. The hotel is a little distance from the city center which makes it nice and quiet. It took around 5 minutes to walk to the bus stand.

Beautiful & Just Amazing! Personable reception staff, Sam and his brother Efron provided things to do, made suggestions where to eat & spoke about this awesome town. No request was a burden, extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast staff friendly and attentive. Room big and amazing, everything you need & could ask for. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom, 2 beds, air con, sitting area & bar fridge. All the drinking water you could possibly want and ask for. Roof top restaurant, WoW, views of the town. Strongly and highly recommend this place when visiting Goreme.

This hotel is so special! It is very close to Pigeon Valley and not on a giant hill. It only serves breakfast but it’s very close to the city center. The staff is very helpful with suggestions and ideas and they even give you a map! My room was perfect and I always felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveler!

Our stay at Design Cappadocia Hotel was more than amazing! From the moment we made the reservation, they were very communicative and timely responsive to our inquiries and needs. The hotel is very clean, has a unique/special theme, and quietly well located just a couple of minutes walk from Goreme center and the Pigeon Valley. It also has a nice roof top were we were able to clearly watch the balloon fly, and enjoy a relaxing time watching sunse! The breakfast is decent, with nice varieties. We made most of our transport and activity reservations (airport/hotel transportation, balloon fly, taxi, tour ... etc.) through the hotel. Each time the service was on time, as described, and better than expected. Most importantly, the hotel has such a wonderful and amazing staff and management! They were very very friendly and helpful, and they always took the time to explain things around, make very helpful suggestions, and respond to our questions. We had the pleasure to deal with Hasan, Zaki, Melesa, Kaya and Irfan, and each and all of them made us feel like we are at home! The kitchen staff were also wonderful and very friendly! I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Cappadocia.

Our stay at the Design Cappadocia hotel was truly exceptional. The accommodations were fantastic, and the view from the hotel was absolutely perfect. The only drawback was our initial experience upon arrival. The owner went into an extensive explanation, expressing doubts about our pre-booked hot air balloon tour through Viator, suggesting it might not depart from Goreme Cappadocia. He requested details about our booking agency to verify the departure location and even hinted that booking through him would offer lower prices and a guaranteed departure from Goreme. It was quite evident that his intention was to have us book through him to earn a commission. Ironically, prior to our stay, I had already communicated with Sam from the hotel, and the price he quoted was significantly higher compared to what I had secured through Viator. This situation left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable, as it made me appear foolish in front of my fellow travelers. Despite this initial setback, our overall stay was wonderful, but the encounter with the owner left a sour note.

Central. Convenient.

This was a good hotel. It was near the town center. The recommendation of Mustafa were all good. From the mozaik restaurant, the spa Artemis, the private tour that had a tour guide and driver. But the room they gave had no windows. I remember booking this hotel because there was a window. I didnt notice that until we felt that the room was not too comfortable. Also since it is a cave hotel, and we were at the lower floors, the dust from the stones goes to the table and bed when people upstairs walk or move. They cleaned that but then again, just be prepared for that. One thing I loved though was the lavender smell in the whole property because they had lavender that was freshly cut the day we arrive. It is also a good view for the hot air balloon especially if they fly over the Goreme National park, you get to see them upclose. But it will all depend on the wind. Was the bed comfortable? Yes. Was the hotel central? Yes. Will I go back? No. I would try others. It may be better. Who knows? Nothing really special in the rooms. And yes, I would have loved a window and an upper floor. But oh well. Will find a better one next time.

Beautiful butique hotel that's near the centre of Cappadocia. Lots of opportunities to take amazing photos during our stay. You'll be able to catch the balloons in the morning after sunrise. Hotel service and cleanliness was impeccable. Although not the typical breakfast menu served, we loved the local breakfast options
