This is an outstanding hotel. It was constructed 25 years ago out of concrete and rustic native wood overlooking Last Hope Bay. The hotel deservedly won architectural awards for its forward looking eco-friendly design that enables the hotel to retain 58% of the incident sunlight in a climate in which this is a highly desirable feature. The staff were friendly and the food was outstanding.

We enjoyed our week stay at Remota. The employees were kind and helpful. The restaurant on site was great, including the breakfast buffet. We liked that it was slightly out of town, an uber or taxi was only 2-5 USD to get to town if you didn't feel like walking. We would recommend this stay.

Perfect place to stay in Puerto Natales.

Spectacular design(exterior and interior), room is spacious. Amazing view of the lake/fjord with mountain at its background. Downtown is just 3km away from hotel, can easily access by Uber or Taxi. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

This is a little out of town but walkable with stunning views of the mountains across the fjord, a great restaurant and and unique decor. Our room was spacious with a soaking tub and lobby areas with windows looking out at amazing scenery.

Good hotel outside of Puerto Natales

Very good hotel - couple of things - while some good options for breakfast, the scrambled eggs were soupy and not warm - neither was the bacon and pancakes. I had dinner a couple of times and it was good. Wi-fi only in the main building, no tv in rooms so don't be surprised. Close to town - nice room. The team members were helpful and nice.

Fantastic views. Great Christmas dinner and they helped out at the last minute when our Torre Del Paine your got cancelled. We will forever be grateful for their help because our entire trip was planned without much room for cancellation or delays. The views from this property are amazing. It feels remote and private. The natural wood features throughout the hotel and rooms are beautiful. There was clearly special care taken to ensure that the hotel blends into the sacred landscape. The rabbit colonies that live on the property were such a special treat to view. Staff were incredibly friendly, helping us set up a last-minute horseback ride. The food was delicious. Windows and views abound! Would love to come back to visit. Muchas gracias a todos!

The hotel itself is gorgeous!! Best view!! The rooms are so unique and beautiful decorated!! Fireplaces, like I have never seen....The employees are amazing!! The location is beautiful, situated across from water and mountains. The hotel experience was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were spacious with a nice lodge atmosphere. The weekend menu and service were impeccable. However, the weekday evening buffet offered the same food every night without any option to order from the menu. The other drawback was the internet, which did not work in my room, and was not very good even in the lounge area and restaurant. My experience was otherwise very good.

The hotel is impressive! -one of those rare occasions when you get what it says in the tin!! The building is impressive, the spaces are well-lit, comfortable, facilities are good, staff is super-helpful, the food is amazing, the rooms are spacious. The views are great, short walking distance into town; and you are the doorstep of Torres del Paine!

There are a lot of good things about Remota. The rooms are beautifully designed and thought about. Some reviews mention staff not being friendly, but everyone I met was really helpful. The communal spaces are great for lounging around. The food was tasty and the bar is very good. There are things I would like to see improved: - Places to refill water bottles without having to ask the kitchen - Better advertising of snacks and drinks being available from the bar outside of meal times - The pool needs a shoe area before people come in, so outdoor shoes aren't being worn round the pool itself. - A wifi booster so that wifi works in all rooms. There are a couple of issues I had. The website advertises airport transfers from Punta, but when I tried to book I was told it is only during the day and I was on my own. The website also advertises excursions, but again when I actually went to book I was told these are only for guests on the packages. This wasn't an issue because there are lots of tours available locally, but it wasn't what I expected from the website. So I think the website should be updated to make these things clear. The pool is really nice but was only actually working properly for two of my five days - the others there was unspecified 'maintenance' which meant it was cold and not full to the top as it should have been. This should be advertised better at reception (or ideally avoided!). I would stay again if some of these things are improved!
