Staff and service was wonderful. We’ve been to quite a lot of pensions/hotels but this place was by far the best. The view is really beautiful and the pension itself is spacious and clean. 5/5!!!!

The best accommodation in Namhae

This is a place I use every year when I visit Namhae. It is a place where you can rest quietly with a view of the ocean. The surrounding amenities are also close by, and it is a place where you can stay comfortably like at home. There is meticulous consideration everywhere in the accommodations, and it feels like your tired body and mind are being restored.

Whale’s dream pension felt like a home away from home. The owners have thought of everything one would need to have an enjoyable stay. Each room has its own character and outdoor sitting area. My friend had a swing outside her room to enjoy the ocean view. The room was immaculate. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks. Facial masks were provided as well. The small kitchen had everything you needed. A snack and drink was left hanging on our door as a departure treat. The couple who run the pension are lovely and were quick to answer all of our questions. I would definitely return to this pension.

Had a wonderful stay at Whale's Dream. The owner and his mother, who lives onsite and helps service the guests, were very attentive. The room is beautiful, and the balcony view was wonderful.

Stunning Ocean view with comfortable & clean room

Great experience in the accommodation. Very welcoming staff with cuppa coffee and clean and nice room. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, kitchen and free wifi. All the rooms have stunning ocean view. Definitely i will stay next time if i have chance to travel Namhae again. Fell in love with this warm atmosphere.

Exquisite views in Namhae

Our stay at Whale's Dream was wonderful. The hosts of this pension are incredibly kind, generous, and relaxed people, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The setting of this hotel is absolutely exquisite and the environment is incredible peaceful. We hope to return another time!

Great Location, Great Host, Great Service

Great location for going around the island... Many places to visit near by. It's on the hill overlooking the ocean. The owner is very kind, and the service is great. Would Absolutely Recommend the place to others. Will visit again with my wife this time. The larger Upstairs has much better Room and all.

It was very cozy during our stay. The owner was very kind and cooked for us delicious food not only breakfast. There were little bit of wind but no problem. Convenience store and small seafood store not restaurant are located nearby.

Namhae Perfection

This stay was the highlight of our time in Korea. The location is perfect for exploring the island of Namhae. The accommodations themselves are superb - the nicest pension we've encountered in Korea - absolutely first rate. Finally, the service provided by the host was above and beyond, despite the slight language barrier. We could not be more pleased and look forward to returning to Whale's Dream one day.

The place was clean, serene and had a beautiful water view in front. The owner was very kind, friendly, and wanted to meet our needs while we were staying. He even brought us a bottle of red wine on our first evening, and hung a bag with a water bottle and a snack on the front door to take with us for our daily travels. The huge jacuzzi in the room, facing the water, was extra fun. Only dislike was the lack of a bigger market or ATM nearby. There was a small convenience store close to the property, however. Will highly recommend the place though.

I would stay again-book upstairs room!

The owner was very nice and helpful. There was a snafu with the room descriptions in Expedia(I thought I had booked upstairs but apparently I didn't) but the owner accommodated us the second night. He gave us a bottle of wine to apologize for the mistake. The rooms were neat and clean with a western bed and bathroom (this might be important to folks). Breakfast was included (tasty). The area is a bit isolated but there is a restaurant and a CU nearby. You MUST stay on the second floor if you rent here-i believe its the Deluxe Double. The different in the decor and view is pretty dramatic- you will be much happier if you are on the second floor. I recommend that one bring or rent a car when visiting Namhae-cabs can be expensive.

다른 펜션과는 다르게 냉장고 안에 웰컴드링크, 물, 씨리얼, 샌드위치, 황도, 마스크팩 등 많이 준비가 되어 있구요. 먼지 한 톨 없는 숙소였어요 화장실 하수구 냄새도 없었고 테라스에 귀여운 흔들그네도 있었습니다. 뷰는 오션뷰라 너무 예쁘고 노을이 지는 모습 또한 장관이었어요! 바베큐 신청하시면 미리 정한 시간에 숯을 준비해주시는데, 숯 뿐만 아니라 직점 담그신 김치, 쌈무, 쌈장에 옥수수콘, 컵라면 2개, 음료수 한캔까지 준비해주셨습니다. 강추에요!
