"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. Going there during the Sakura season was amazing too. "

"I recommend Genjikoh for the amazing Japanese experience of enjoying the open bath overlooking the ocean and the various activities in the hotel such as the scent workshop. We booked a room for 5 and it was spacious and was pleasantly surprised it has 2 toilets. The sea view was breathtaking. We don’t book the meals as we don’t eat raw food but we had difficulty finding a good eatery outside as there are few amenities nearby and they close early. "Excellent boutique hotel.
It was beautiful inside and very intimate. The little cafe was cozy and had snacks all day long plus coffee and tea. There is a private onsen and little garden. I sadly missed the breakfast that they offered to us as i was so tired and comfy in the bed i had trouble getting up. The room was beautiful with great amenities and drinks for you.
