Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
We arrived at 2:30 in hopes for early check-in. Not only were we not able to check in early, the room wasn't even ready at 4:00 for normal check-in time. Around 4:15 the receptionist gave us the room key and told us it was ready. Upon entering the room, housekeeping was still in there and asked us why we were in there and who told us it was ready. She looked at us as if we were crazy and we were honestly just as confused as she was. We returned to the main lobby and informed them that the room was still not ready so we had to wait. We were told that because the room was booked through VRBO our room could not be changed and had to be the one we were waiting for. When we finally got into the room we noticed that the sheets on the Murphy bed was filthy and it looked like someone peed on them. We did get new ones when I informed the receptionist. The room also was not the cleanest which resulted in us having to go buy our own cleaning supplies and blankets. There was a thick layer of dust under the beds and on the fridge. It was also a half drunken bottle of soda under the couch in which my toddler discovered when he reached under to get his toy. In the bedroom closet it was also trash in the corner. The kitchen barely had cooking equipment and only one fork. The pans that was there was dirty and smelled moldy. We also found a bug in the bottom of my coffee from the lobby and the breakfast gave us all a stomach bug. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. The lock was broke.
