Muscat Hills Resort

Lovely place, shame about the new buildings that are in the process of being built - they are not shown on the photo and it does spoil the view from the beach into the sea (and the quietness of the place due to building works). Apart from that, a very nice place and we will definitely go back. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Manque de solidarité et d'élégance. coronavirus.

Le sultanat d'Oman a demandé aux resorTisssntas étrangers de quitter le territoire. Tous les sites et restaurants ont été fermés. Nous avons du rentrer chez nous au milieu du séjour. Nous avons prévenu l'hotel qui nous a dit qu'il conservait le paiement de la chambre et que “généreusement“ nous pourrons en profiter d'ici la fin de l'année. Nous en avons parlé avec tous les français qui rentraient comme nous. La plupart ont eu une journée de pénalité et remboursement du reste. j'ai demandé la même chose à l'hôtel et j'attends de voir ce qu'il décidera avant d'agir sur le web et des médias avec lesquels je travaille au titre des exemples de solidarité.

For the price we were disappointed. Bad welcoming. There was an event an the evening it was loud and we were informed only during checkin. They could have sent an email to us before. Room is very simple. Again for that price we were expecting more.

Les pieds dans le sable

Situé dans une magnifique baie, On se la joue Robinson Crusoe dans de jolie paillotte sur la plage. Le restaurant Est lui dans un style très contemporain et les plats sont de très bonne qualité. Seul bémol, les projets immobiliers se multiplient, avec le risque de dénaturer ce petit paradis à 20 Minutes de Mascate.

il primo impatto ambientale è stato deludente in quanto sono presenti numerose costruzioni nella baia tra cui un grande hotel alto almeno 5 piani che nella foto pubblicata sul sito assolutamente non sono presenti per il resto la ristorazione è ottima e la location delle camere sulla spiaggia è suggestiva. apprezzato il silenzio e la possibilità di relax. nel complesso data la perdita di carattere di location esclusiva il rapporto qualità prezzo diventa elevato

New Year’s Eve

Incredible 3 days stay at the resort. The private bay is really nice, we relaxed a lot and swam in the beautiful sea. The New Year’s Eve dinner was incredible and we had a really nice stay there. The staff also really nice and the owner as well.

Serene property with gorgeous views and total relaxation. Staff makes you feel like family. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Food is wonderful. A wonderful stay! Highly recommended!

Fijne plek, maar echt slechte kamer

Service in restaurant goed, receptie ongeïnteresseerd, een Billy van een manager die storend voor de gasten optreedt. Kamer echt in slechte staat, stomme oplossingen, goedkope uitstraling, wandcontactdoos dat uit de muur hangt, rare ophangbalk voor handdoeken wasr je je hoofd aan stoot als je van de wc opstaat, etc, etc, zeker 10 zaken. Wie is hier de ontwerper, wie is hier de baas. Restaurant goed, ligging superbe, duikschool zeer goed

Location is beautiful, staff is very friendly and assisting, except at the reception: no assistance with the luggage, 1 person was not really interested in the clients. A huge German speaking manager was taking care of the restaurant personel, but acted in such a way that I felt ashamed. He was very much present and had a negatieve influence on our breakfast, lunch and dinner at 3 out of 6 occasions. Maintenance and lay out of our room 20 was really bad, dangerous, stupid or outdated at to many points to Sum up: at least 10 points of (severe) criticism. This resort is only a few years old, but at some points it looks like 30 years old. The diving school was excellent!

L emplacement est absolument magnifique. Très belle plage dans une crique. Restaurant au bord de la mer, repas excellent, vue superbe et service impeccable. Le bar de la plage également moderne et intimiste. Tout le personnel travaillant au restaurant et au service nettoyage est discret, efficace et très Lieu magique mais : Notre chambre était très petite . Les meubles vieillots et de mauvaise qualité. La salle de bain extérieure serait bien si elle était remise à neuf (douche mal fixée, toilettes qui ne fonctionnent parfois pas, carrelage au sol fendillé) ;le coffre-fort hors service. Coupure d électricité et climatisation qui ne fonctionne plus alors qu il fait encore plus de 35 degrés la nuit. Des chiens rôdent la nuit sur la plage et viennent parfois jusque sur la terrasse. Quelquefois ils hurlent et semblent se battre , ceci en pleine nuit et tôt le matin. La piscine hors service pendant presque la totalité de notre séjour (l eau était très trouble à notre arrivée, et nous en avons fait tout de suite la remarque, mais on nous a dit qu elle était normale, mais 2 jours après, interdiction de l utiliser) La plage est divisée en 2 partie dont l une est publique, ce qui est tout à fait acceptable. Mais cela pose un problème les jours de week-end . Le vendredi surtout. Plus de la moitié des transats réservés aux clients des cabanes sont transvasés sur le côté publique, qui est bondé, ce qui fait qu il n y en n a plus assez pour les clients. Séjour mitigé

نسبت اخذ سماعة ال aid pods من الغرفه وقتها كنت راجع للاستقبال عشان اعمل تسجيل مغادرة و بمجرد اني بلغت الاستقبال اني نسيتها بالغرفه و ممكن تطرشو احد يجيبها و خبرتهم عن مكانها بسبب بعد المسافه من الاستقبال للغرف افادو انها ما موجوده و لما رحت بنفسي و بحثت ما حصلتها و شبكت ع البلوتوث و ظهر عندي انها لا زالت بالغرفه و موظفين خدمة الغرف كانو متواجدين و قايميين ع اعمال التنظيف لكن ما ظلعوها لي ف ما حبيت احرجهم و حطيت رقمي عندهم يتواصلو معاي اذا عثرو عليها بس للاسف .. و يحتاج نظافة اكثر للغرف و استخدام مبيدات حشريه .. بالتوفيق المكان جميل

I'm torn about whether I would come back. The main resort is beautiful, modern. Staff excellent, friendly. When I arrived, a bathroom bulb was burned out; replaced within minutes. I was shown around room and how things worked. Food delicious--breakfast buffet and dinner. Beach spectacular, calm warm water, quiet. Asked for umbrella; came within minutes. A nice touch would be to add 'beach service' for snacks/beverages mid afternoon. While I loved the idea of the huts and completely understand 'rustic,' the condition of my room could have been improved with some patching of holes and a fresh coat of paint. I get that it is hot and humid and whatever, but the room was dingy. It would take so little time and money to improve these rooms. I would also give up the hot humid open air bathroom to not have to sleep under a mosquito tent and not get bitten while I was outside of it. Enjoyed the little lizard resting under my air conditioner, which worked great. Internet was very inconsistent and thus frustrating when I was trying to connect to friends. No watching of video because it completely shut down the wifi. Not the fault of the resort, but the huts are arranged in small groups. When your neighbors come home after the bar closes and stand on their porch talking and singing, it is really loud due to the closeness of the huts. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and maybe I would come back, but clean up those rooms. Know that it is 45-60 minutes from airport.

J'ai passé seulement 36 heures dans ce magnifique, charmant et convivial établissement (on m'a offert gracieusement un "late check-out"). Ce fut fabuleux! Le paysage est fantastique, les installations sont très agréables, la faune marine est extraordinaire, la présence d'oiseaux exotiques ajoutent au charme, la nourriture est succulente! Atmosphère relaxante plaisante au moment de ma présence. On y revient sans hésitation! Merci au Muscat Hills Resort pour ce séjour trop bref!

Cadre et restauration exceptionnelsdommage que les chambres ne soient pas un petit peu plus confortables. Si vous y allez pensez a la petite chate Moustache qui se ballade sur place elle est trop mignonne prenez lui a manger au buffet.
