Fantastic hotel with all the amenities! They even provide a hair straightener!! The restaurant was excellent for breakfast. Centrally located…walkabe to many attractions.
Excellent service. By far the best service ever of any hotel. Expect greatness and you will receive the ultimate treatment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will go out of their way to make this the best experience!!
MO has mastered the fine art of 'the details." All staff were amazing. Location is easily within walking distance to most sites. Rooftop bar has the most spectacular view of Munich. As a traveler that has been blessed to stay at some of the best hotels of the world, MO Munich is without a doubt one of my most favorite. You can't go wrong staying with MO, but MO Munich is a must.
Our family had a wonderful stay at MO, we stayed two nights and were sad to leave. Our room was amazing, the staff could not have been more kind, esp Aaron, and we felt well taken care of. The hotel is elegant without being pretentious. We will return. Munich is a lovely city!
We tried to book the spa in advance. It was not possible. When we arrived there was no availability because the spa is not inhouse and it is really small sp there never would have possible to have a nice massage or a nice spa relaxing experience. It would have been nice to know this in advance so we could have checked for other massage/spa in the area but when we realised this it was to late.
The staff at the hotel was really and great service.
The Mandarin Oriental in Munich is one of the truly great hotels of the world, and certainly one of the most beautiful classic 5-star hotels, and it has a perfect location as well. The rooms are perfectly appointed and immaculately clean, but the real value of this hotel is the staff, especially their Concierge and Front Desk personnel. On our recent stay I made several arrangements through the Concierge staff, and their level of service was outstanding. They arranged limousine services, had a beautiful custom flower arrangement prepared for my wife, and made reservations for dinner at an excellent local restaurant and at their hotel restaurants. They even arranged two (2) private tours for my wife & I of the historic town and of the last operating flour mill in Munich (historically critical to beer making in the area.) The breakfasts were delicious, as was their lunches & dinners. The staff regularly went out of their way to make our stay at their hotel special. Oh, and their new rooftop terrace has some of the best views of the city and outstanding drinks & sushi. We will definitely be returning to this grand hotel in Munich.
