Clean and great value breakfast

Hotel Alarun came to my aid when I was visiting a conference. The fancy hotels were all booked, but Alarun was a great budget option. The area is quiet - almost too quiet in terms of finding food after dark. Rooms were clean and functional. Great buffet breakfast offered great value Only downside was Internet connectivity gave up one night. Otherwise it was a great stay

The hotel is conveniently located near an S1 Metro station, this metro will take you downtown and to the airport (and from the airport). being close to the metro is key, because the hotel isn't in Munich, but in the outskirts of the city. The room is spacious, and the bed comfortable. I think one of the best features was the price without a doubt. There is no restaurant, except for breakfast, not late-night bar or entertainment. There was a little bit of noise from the highway close by, which wasn’t a problem because I was tired every night. I recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable stay on a budget.

The customer service at the front desk during check-in was brutal. As someone who worked in customer service and from Canada, it took everything in me to maintain being respectful and polite to the rude women at the front-desk. Felt like since I was English speaking there was an immense amount of rudeness. Regardless of greeting in German and attempting to speak German to her.

the gym wasn’t accessible, the person on the phone wasn’t very helpful either (the reception was closed at 3 pm already, even though that’s when check-in begins). the kettle in the room was broken (worked, but the lid fell off). the water kept draining from the bathtub, even though it was plugged. hard to close the bathroom door. other than that, the room was comfortable and clean. the bed was soft and very good to sleep in, the pillows were very comfortable too. the location of the hotel is very good, close to the train stop and not far from the airport

Bekam völlig unerwartet als besonders freundliche Geste eines der neueren Zimmer, dafür ein herzliches Dankeschön! Auch das Frühstück war ausgesprochen gut, liegt leider an den Nimmersatten, dass es für Spätfrühstücker keinen Lachs und keine Forelle mehr gibt. Das Hotel liegt gut erreichbar für Anreise mit PKW oder auch öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, also sportlich gesehen nahezu volle Punktzahl!

Preiswertes Hotel in der Nähe der S-Bahn circa 200 m. In 30 Minuten ist man so am Marienplatz. Auch der Flughafen ist nicht weit.
