This was my first time staying here. I was very surprised when we walked into our room. The room was really nice for the price we paid for the room. It had a full size fridge, a nice tv and the fact that they allowed dogs was a great bonus. We will definitely stay here again

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Gave us a room change and willing to help. Easy access from highway. Room overall fine for one night pit stop. Clean Toilets/Sinks / Clean Bedding /several modern updates (TV, kitchenette with fridge & Microwave, headboards etc. ) but also some dated /rough elements still not yet updated (tub, walls/damaged doors) some elements or appliances very clean and others not - nothing disgusting, but lighting was limited in half the room and could account for some spots not cleaned as well. Dog Friendly. Very clean grounds, no trash. * Don't assume you will have a hot plate to cook. They have limited availability.

The hotel was conveniently located. The room was comfy and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Only issue was very limited TV channels through DirecTV. Most of the channels didn't work or they were frozen.

The staff was very nice. My room smelled like cigarettes so they changed my room for me. The room was very dated and there were roaches.

Overall, location is actually MOTEL 6 , Expedia lists in as STUDIO 6. Location is convenient to Shenandoah Cavers and Skyline Drive but facility is average. Our room was clean and comfortable. The check in process was a bit tedious since the keyless card didn't work and we had to return twice to office to then be given a room on the second floor. Motel 6 is convenient and if you need a place to rest and sleep then it's quite fine for the price.

Date night get away

The front desk clerk was awesome and friendly. We where missing a coffee pot and o e was bought to the room in a timely manner. However the shower and tub where not clean. There was big clumps off hair on the walls off the shower. The room could have used a round table and 2 chairs to sit at.

Disappointed the king studio we had booked was not available.That should not happen. Small discount for a regular king room. Also the only outlet by the bathroom sink did not work. The room was spacious and clean with a large flat screen tv. Plenty of storage too

Mount Jackson is a small town nestled between Harrisburg and Winchester. The location is very convenient to see the small towns of Shenandoah valley. The motel itself has been freshly renovated as pictured on this website. The clerks are super friendly and helpful and you are greeted with a smile. Wash clothes and towels are replenished every day. The gas station and eight eating establishments are also located nearby along with a grocery store and discount store. The motel is located right off the exit and the area is busy, but the motel property is quiet and safe with plenty of parking. Also, there are some interesting eats in the small towns of Shenandoah valley.
