"We had a wonderful time in La Laupie.The house and estate are beautiful, and the surrounding historic village is truly magical. The pool and tennis court were great, and the interior of the house was tastefully done. With 8 children and 9 adults, we had plenty of space. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, which made cooking for a large group easy and enjoyable.Overall, the experience was excellent.That said, I’d like to mention a few areas for improvement — not to sound ungrateful, but to help future guests set realistic expectations and to give the owners a chance to address them:The pool water wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived. After we raised this with the concierge, it was taken care of the next day. It wasn’t a major issue, but having the pool in perfect condition from the start would have been ideal.There were only 8 pool loungers available, which felt a bit limited given the size of the house and the number of guests it accommodates.A few items on the property were broken or had not been properly replaced: some outdoor lights were covered with plastic bags, broken chairs hadn’t been removed, and the referee chair at the tennis court was rusty and unusable.These were minor issues and didn’t significantly affect our stay.We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely come back!"

"Whenever we go to a hotel I try to get a feel from the reviews. This hotel had very good reviews and to be honest I was slightly sceptical. However from the moment we arrived to the time we left it was nothing but a pleasant experience. I would really recommend it and a hotel we shall be returning to."

"It was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was shabby and it was some sort of shower kit that combined sink, toilet and shower altogether with little separation. There is a big step up to enter and exit that was awkward. Room is tiny but functional. The rate is very low so one night is ok, Staff is terrific. "

"We received good directions to the property and found it easily. It is a very easy fifteen minute walk into the centre of Vaison.On VRBO, the property was advertised as being a “Beautiful house with swimming pool, superb view on Mont Ventoux and old town”. The house is comfortable, but not suited to the hot temperatures we experienced, which were upper 30C, and even overnight rarely dropped below 25 in the bedroom. We asked for a fan, which improved the night time comfort slightly. There is only 1 bathroom with toilet, not 2 as described on VRBO.We were thankful for the small pool, but there was sadly no waterfall, no view of Mont Ventoux, and no hammock, as described. The galley kitchen has the essentials, and an inverter microwave oven, but limited worktop space. There is plenty of room to eat inside or out on the terrace overlooking the pool and lovely garden.We did enjoy our stay, and the walks into Vaison, which is a lovely town."

"We had a great stay, place is great, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking is a plus and breakfast is nice, room is also clean and comfortable."

"The place is what it is. A lot of worn down carpets. Dirty sheets and we saw a cup with ash and leftover cigarette under the bed. Some cutlery was dirty as well. "

"I arrived very late and it was a while before the reception opened teh door for me, but it is a typical Ibis Styles, basic but clean and in good condition, breakfast was also typical but adequate. No complaints for the price"
