We had a great stay here. It was conveniently located. Also, the staff was incredibly helpful both before and during our visit, they helped to arrange transportation whenever we needed it, especially to get to our next destination I would recommend a balcony room for the great views of the area.

Mar Inn is a good clean place to stay in Monte Verde. Room was spacious and clean and staff was friendly. It is conveniently located close and very walkable to the shops and restaurants of Monte Verde town. This place is a great option for budget minded tourists.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with arranging tours and making reservations for us. The location is within walking distance to the main commercial area and not far from both the Santa Elena and Monteverde Reserves. Had a great couple of nights here.

A good option for families

The staff were very helpful, and the room was quiet despite being on the ground floor and near a common area. We would stay here again if we go back to Monteverde. (Wife and son are already asking when we can go back to Costa Rica!)

We loved the location close into town. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable and we loved being able to sit outside our room on our balcony. The breakfast was great! This was a wonderful, affordable option for staying in Santa Elena. It is easily accessible to the beautiful hanging bridges and all of the other beauty in the area.

Hôtel is basic but the perfect location to tour the area and the service is way above a average for the price range! Amazing staff - super helpful, fast, friendly. Really good value for money!

The best thing about this property for us was the 2 guys that ran the reception. They helped us find the best restaurants, activities and even the best local places for sunset. Our room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location was close to everything. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great two night stay at this spot in December 2023. Staff was friendly and helpful. Heads up this isn’t the newest facilities, the bed is firm (which I like) and overall would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, cute simple accommodation! Little older but thw location is great, not in the heart of Santa Elena but a walking distant away from the crowded area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They have an organized schedule to all the acitvities around and multiple times for shuttles to different activities.

This is a nice place close to Monteverde. We stayed one night before our hike in the cloud forest. Love the location, the service, and the cleanest of the hotel. The street in from is full of potholes, just like the roads leading to here. Not the hotel's fault, but a fact which I did enjoy that much in general when traveling through northern part of Costa Rica.
