This property was closed for business. I was stranded for hours trying to find a new reservation. I wasn't able to contact anyone at the hotel for a refund and I'm still waiting on a response from Expedia!

Great place to stay! Excellent bar and pool area! Very nice continental breakfast. So close to the beach, shopping, and right on the hip strip!

Good morning, for this hotel to be so old! It is well maintained! The Grounds are beautiful, looks historic ♥️ ! The Pool was cleaned everyday! Felt comfortable and secured!

Old but charming.

I like Doctor's Cave because of its location plus it has charm. If you are looking for modern and up to date, keep looking. I can imagine in it's heyday it was THE place to be. Now it is showing its age but for some, like me, that is part of the attraction..

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect if you just want to be able to walk everywhere. The price was a little high for the condition of the rooms (need updating) but you truly can't be the location. Has a nice pub on site. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again when in Montego Bay.

It is close to most things in the area but is old TV sucks. If you come late at night and dont want to waste a high price at a premium hotel it will do the job to get some sleep.

Its simplicity and subtle elegance. Located ideally near the beach and restaurants. Minutes away from the airport avoids too early a wake up or an overly long journey to catch your flight back home. THE PRICE...... extremely reasonable pricing for a HIP STRIP.

We were initially placed in a room where the AC did not work and it was NOT the suite I booked, then later in the night after my complaint, we were moved to a suite with a working AC. The towels are old, rooms need an upgrade of sorts. The male staff were very helpful. The ones who worked the overnight shift were the ones who relocated us to the proper room . Front desk ladies were not as friendly nor helpful.

This is a comfortable older, traditional MoBay hotel in an excellent location, steps from Doctors Beach. A good value. Sometimes they play the music a little too loud in the afternoon around the pool but they will turn it down if you ask. The complimentary breakfast is worth at least $10.

A lovely old property, mostly will maintained, but shoes it's age here and there. Always clean and will tended and the staff is above reproach. We always feel welcome and comfy

This is definitely a 1-2 star hotel by western standards. The room we stayed in was relatively clean but the mattress was like sleeping on a foldout couch. Normally that would be fine if the hotel was priced to reflect this level of experience, but it was stay for the evening was price at more of a 3 star experience. When we checked in the attended was nice and for the most part the staff did their best. The lobby is very dark and not as well lit as the pictures you see on Orbitz, and its very depressing. You don't necessary have parking on the property if you are driving. You can park across the street from the hotel or to the right of the hotel driveway where they reserve parking spaces for guests. I don't believe that people drive that often from what I see, so maybe its not a huge issue for most. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, but pool and bar area seemed decent. Have very little expectations for this place and you should be happy. Providing you didn't overpay like we did.

The garden and hot tub were beautiful! Amazing lounges and the pool is cleaned every morning. Free rum punch nights on Tuesday between 6-7pm which is amazing but the bar open at 3 and the loud music doesn’t stop until 11 or later. Not good if you’re trying to sleep or have kids, maybe ask for a room further away from the pool. Amazing staff, very friendly bartender and ok breakfast- just toast and fruit and juice.

Decent hotel.

Stayed here for two nights (dec28-Jan 1). Check in was pretty quick and they switched up our reservation to accommodate two double beds. Our room was a decent size, the air conditioner worked and it was clean. It did the job for what we needed it to do. The hotel is very old but we weren’t there much so it didn’t matter to us. We were located on the main floor in front of the pool, the bar, the restaurant and the jerk drum. We had the continental breakfast which was basic (toast, fruits, muffin, juice), but there was breakfast for purchase. Overall the hotel was ok. It suited us fine. We were up and about a lot so we didn’t spend too much time browsing the grounds. The price was decent and it was right on the hip strip which made it easy to access things.

This property is in desperate need of some upgrades and renovations. The rooms are severely outdated and in need of some TLC. The linen didn’t seem clean and there is no room service or restaurants on site which forces you to go out and explore the area. Though the staff was friendly, I have no plans on returning until some upgrades have been completed.
