"Very close to the railway station, giving access to a large part of Italy including Venice, Verona and Modena. The hotel itself was very clean and well kept. Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms are good, with the largest bed I've ever slept in (probably 10ft wide), and are impeccably cleaned every day. Bologna itself is a fanatic city to stay in if you want to experience the real Italy. In August, it seemed fairly quiet during the day, but coming alive in the late evening. Absolutely tons of thing to see and amazing places to eat which I thought were reasonably priced. Also, make sure you try the coffee shop just next to the hotel where you can get two coffees and a croissant for €4. The city itself has some wonderful sights, but also you can expect to see a bit of graffiti - not that It matters. We always felt safe and no real evidence of crime when walking out and about even late at night."

"A brilliant property. Wonderful staff. The cleanest most cared for hotel we have seen in recent times. The whole place, so far as we could see, has been restored, revamped and updated. Gorgeous new marble flooring in some areas and corridors. Painted throughout with new lighting fixtures and our bathroom was fully new. A superb new swimming pool with excellent seating and surrounds. A really lovely breakfast each day. Excellent parking on site with lifts to all levels. Highly recommended. Just a few minutes drive into town."

"Very quirky suite with lovely paintings adorning the walls. Floors were a bit creaky in that you could hear people upstairs, but, you get used to it. Ideal location as only a 5 minute stroll from the Piazza Majiore and all the adjacent bars and restaurants."

"The room was tiny but very clean. We had a double room, 2 twin beds on one side and a double bed on the other and connected by a bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful and they made many offerings for 3 of us who are celiacs!"
Best Western Premier Milano Palace Hotel

"Staff were super friendly and helpful. They had kindly upgraded my room for free but meant it didn’t have the sofa bed that I needed for my son but they quickly sorted it out and moved us. Hotel is a good location for walking to the city centre and train station. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the level of the breakfast. For the price (I didn’t get it included in my room rate) the selection was good but I struggled to equate it to the cost. Otherwise the hotel was good."
