Cleanliness is what stood out for me about this place. The staff does a great job keeping it clean. The only downside is hearing the locals by your window (I was on the main floor) which can interrupt your sleep.

We had an enjoyable stay at D'Gecko Hotel. The location was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. Regarding the slippers to be used in the room - we thought this was a good idea to avoid common areas getting sandy/dirty - however we just wish they'd provided larger sizes of slippers!

The property was conveniently located along the path next to the beach. Couple of minutes walk to the sardines! The place was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would have stayed longer, but it was all booked up.

I typically stay in higher end properties, but this is Moalboal- and I wanted to be close to the water in the heart of the action. Deluxe King room is beyond a super value! Staff is sooooo friendly and accommodating. I booked originally for 2 nights- and I have extended it now one night at a time- now here for the 6th night. For the area, there is nothing better and i would definitely recommend it here.

It’s a 3 stars hotel but I like it. Very nice and in good location. Staff also very nice, they looked after me when I fell from the bike and was bleeding. I will surely come back to this place.

First time checking in here and this property did not disappoint. This humble space has accommodating and warm staff, you will love them. Hot spots like cafes and beaches are just a few minutes away either by walking or renting a motorcycle. This place is laid back, peaceful, and very chill. But they take cleanliness seriously. You'll know when you get here.

Highly recommended. Only 30 seconds to the beach where you can swim with sea turtles and schools of sardines. This Greek-style inn is clean and simply equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff is responsive, helpful and friendly. It is too far to walk to the nearby mall and bus terminal, so you can rent a scooter or take a tricycle at the store right in front of the hotel. Cabana is the only restaurant near the hotel that accepts credit cards.

Booked a two night stay at D’Gecko from March 5th-7th. Location of the hotel is great and the staff are friendly, but that’s about everything that is good about this hotel. Bed sheets were stained from overuse and so were the towels. The shower was interesting… either freezing cold or scalding hot. Comes out as a drizzle or as a jet depending on how it’s feeling. Would not recommend staying here unless your other option is a hostel. Oh, I guess another pro is that they have a water cooler in the hallway, so I will give them that.
