Sandestin is a beautiful resort with beautiful golf course options. If you are expecting a room with beachside access without a tram ride, be aware that very few room options are actually beachside. The listing said it was on the beach, so we assumed we would get beachside, but ended up quite a distance from the beach. Definitely not in walking distance. The Sandestin beach is wonderful and so relaxing. However, be aware that you will have to pay quite a bit to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella which isn’t exactly stated in the listing. We did ride the tram several places, but the food wasn’t what we expected so we rented a car to explore other options. Lastly, the pictures on the listing were nothing like the room we actually stayed in. Our room was very outdated with old, tattered furniture. We had a fun vacation and loved the beach. We will for sure return someday but will likely find a different place to stay.

I absolutely loved the stay. The room was clean and efficient. The view particularly from the patio was outstanding. Clean facility, amenites all around. Driving Range was steps from my front door.

For the price, our stay was somewhat disappointing. The resort was clean, which we appreciated, but the furniture and overall decor felt outdated and not quite as expected based on the listing. The property could benefit from some updates and improvements to better match its pricing. The amenities were adequate, but we experienced ongoing issues with the bus transportation service. Buses were frequently delayed, and there was considerable confusion regarding which route to take. Unfortunately, we found it difficult to get clear assistance when questions arose, which made getting around more frustrating than it should have been. Overall, while the resort was clean and offered decent amenities, the value did not fully meet our expectations.
