Areas for improvement: no towles supplied initially (had to ask), lack of toiletries in the room (no hand soap), wifi does not work, food at restaurant quite expensive. We wanted to have two beds but the rooms have inbuilt king beds so there was a small uncomfortable single bed added. No room service unless you ask and provide your...

"Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. In the middle of the forest, this is a hidden little gem, with lovely spacious clean rooms, exceptionally friendly staff, and a luxury lodge like feel! It was out of season, so the hotel was quite quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves. I imagine this is the perfect spa retreat in peak season! "

"Ruchira was the perfect host, and the rest of the staff is the kindest as well. Super helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. There were the most beautiful rice fields in the back with 2 kinds of monkeys, peacocks, parrots, even elephants at times. The hotel arranges cheap private tours of the nearby attractions - just let them know what you want to visit and one of their skilled drivers will take you there. "We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very well looked after. The swimming pool was a great —perfect for a refreshing dip after climbing Sigiriya Rock. The hotel is in a slightly isolated location, but this wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the peaceful atmosphere."

"Offers a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Located outside of town (will need to take a Tuk Tuk) but a great location for peace and quiet. Breakfast is very good/filling and dinner offers a nice selection of food which was very good. Highly recommend."
