"This is a little gem of a hotel. It is situated by the parking for car rentals at Catania aiport so the view is, maybe, not the best in the world. However, the hotel is modern, well apointed, clean and offers a decent breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. We needed an overnight stay before an early flight and this is ideal being only a ten minute walk to or from the terminals. So, if you need an over night for a late arrival or early departure look no further. I would add that room is well sound proofed with little noise from the airport. If you are a light sleeper, a nice touch is that the hotel provides ear plugs in the room."

"On pictures it all looks very cute and next to the beach. Luxury? Maybe 30 years ago..when it was last updated. The whole place is very dated, aircon didn’t work and they had to put it on from reception then couldn’t control it in room. Pool was being redecorated. Tried to order room arrive and called reception who cgave me the number.. to the bar.. who gave me The number to the restaurant.. who gave me the number to reception.. who gave me another number .. then they said they would send a bell boy up with menu… then they called 20 min later to tell Me to look on the website… and then they called to chase me Twice.. food arrived and it wasn’t nt bad.. with an extra 15 euro charge to bring to room.. beach is across the road which is why I booked it as well.. a dirty old street and had to walk to this beach club the hotel gave you free sun Bed and towel and parasol… felt like that hasn’t been updated for 30 years either so didn’t bother.. luckily I was only there for 1 night before moving on to Mangia Brucoli for a work summit.. and this Is paradise here.. like being on a set of white lotus! Won’t be coming back that’s for sure. "

"I had a truly wonderful stay at Mazzini Palace. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always smiling – it genuinely felt like they had put their heart and soul into creating this place. A special thank you to Giulia, who was an absolute professional. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and always ready to help with any request. Her approach made the stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. The room was spotless, and the level of cleanliness was exceptional throughout my stay. Everything was cleaned daily, the towels were changed every day, and fresh water was brought to the room daily, which I really appreciated. Little touches like slippers and a shower cap – just like in a five-star hotel – made the experience feel especially comfortable and thoughtful. The room itself was beautiful, with very high ceilings that made you genuinely feel like you were staying in a modern palace – spacious, elegant, and full of character. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection and everything fresh and nicely presented. It really set a positive tone for the day. Another highlight was the view – from the hotel you can see Mount Etna, which made the stay even more special and memorable. Although the location is in a quieter area and requires a bit of travel to reach the main attractions, the peaceful atmosphere can be a nice advantage if you prefer to stay away from busy tourist crowds. I would absolutely recommend Mazzini Palace👌"

"VERY brief stay to catch early morning flight. Staff very friendly and helpful taking us to an excellent restaurant and taking us to airport at 5 am. English was a slight problem , but we did ok. Rooms were very basic but clean. Very comfortable bed. Located very close to airport in an industrial, but not there for a holiday"
