This hotel is nice, it had character. The breakfast is good lots of choices, the staff is very nice. And its really close to the shopping area and the Duomo, if shopping is your thing this is the place to be.

IH Hotel Ambasciatori is a gem in Milan close to all of the action and sites while being comfortable and clean. It is easily walkable to nearby attractions and dining. The morning breakfast is extensive and delicious. The rooftop bar is a beautiful spot to have a drink and admire the Milan skyline. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay overall. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfect for getting around and exploring everything nearby. The hotel is a great place to stay if you mainly need a clean and comfortable room to sleep in. That said, the hotel doesn’t offer much beyond the basics. There was no microwave in the room, and the toiletries were very basic with no conditioner provided. The breakfast was good, fresh, and had a nice selection. The rooftop bar, however, was a bit overpriced and overrated in my opinion. Access is somewhat limited unless you’re willing to purchase a drink, which seemed to be around $10–$20. I expected a little more given the reputation of the rooftop. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again, especially because of the clean rooms and excellent location.

25 years ago this might have been a 4 star hotel but today I would rate it as beeing a 2+ star hotel, which is in desperat need of a total renovation. If you don't care that much about the standard and If you plan to explore Milano by walking, this is the perfect starting point, located in the heart of the city.

Everything was great. Except for the fact that i put the sign “do not disturb”, the house keeping still did our room. Secondly, i left the keycard card on the slot to make sure AC is on, after a couple of hours. AC was turned off and the i found the key card on the table. Nothing was missing as far as we know but its the fact that you know that people still can go in the room no matter what, its a little disappointing and feel a little violated on your privacy. But like i said, everything was great. Room is great. Location is perfect.
