"Shin San is amazing. He was helpful with everything! There was also an electric bike that he let me use for free. The udon restaurant nearby is also amazing. Like a park setting. I recommend this ryokan highly. "

"The Cabin was an amazing property - chic, comfortable, right near the Konpira shrine and the Kabuki theater. AND created and managed by a collective of young people in the town! Thoughtful details, great showers, toilets, beds, bedding - we really felt well accommodated. We would definitely stay again, and look forward to the further evolution of the space."

"Amazing artistic surroundings, the public spaces are decorated beautifully, it was lovely to spend time enjoying them. The massage was superb too as well as the daily Japanese breakfasts. We stayed 6 nights and it was so nice to come back to the hotel every night to relax after being out on the islands to see the art."

"The hotel is located on a hillside not far from Miyaura Port. In the morning, rooms with balconies offer beautiful views and sunrises. Walking to the port doesn’t take long, and along the way you can see the red pumpkin and white birdcage illuminated by lights, creating a unique atmosphere in the evening.
Our stay was truly heartwarming, and we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Shimasaki-san, she went above and beyond to assist us, and her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression.
We sincerely hope this kind-hearted lady, who treasures art museums yet is even more devoted to her work in hospitality, finds great success in the future."
"This is a completely new facility in an old warehouse district of Sakate on Shodoshima. Right on the water, the views from the hotel are stunning.
The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional.
The rooms are spacious, with sitting areas and balconies, but also a bit quirky in design.
We had one dinner at the hotel and two breakfasts. The food was excellent--and reasonably priced.
I would happily return to this hotel, given the opportunity."
