Friendly staff. Easy, and fast check in. Beyond that, it's a good thing the hotel is getting remodeled. It's seen better days. Hopefully it is more than paint and carpet......there are moisture issues from lack of bathroom ventilation and perhaps prior leaky pipes. The HVAC unit needs a through cleaning to remove the mildew smell

My stay

We had a 3 night stay. The hotel and room were clean. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable especially the pillows one of the pillows was about 2” inches thick. The staff were very nice. The hot breakfast was ok, if you like Turkey sausages and biscuits and gravy you will love it. They had scrambled eggs everyday and bacon on one day. The pool was cold, but most indoor hotel pools are cold. Overall good stay and would come back again.

Easy and Clean

The staff was friendly, offer good suggestions when asked, check in was easy and were pleasantly suprise with nacho social event. Breakfast quick amd easy with pleanty of your typical hotel choices . Hotel was over all clean, but you can see the age of the hotel. Renovations are under the way, but not inconvenience.

Hotel had a smell which seems to impact our allergies. Sink in bathroom would not drain properly. Even garbage bags were not put in cans. We were travelling and only slept a few hours and left so not a big deal. Price significant for that quality. Staff were lovely to though.

My first business trip

The first night stay was kind of uncomfortable because the air conditioner was pretty noisy. I ran it enough to cool off the room and then turned it off. It got pretty warm, but it was OK. The next morning I asked if they had another room and they immediately looked and found that the room right next-door was empty. I just walked to the next room and that room was perfect. Very friendly staff. We even had Tornado sirens going off during the night. The staff handled it well even though it was their first time. The guests all met in the dining area and we were told the plan in case there was an emergency. The area around the hotel has plenty of meal options and things to do. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Cincinnati so it’s close enough to visit the city.

The property was near a lot of stuff, restaurants, shopping, hardware, etc. My reservation needed to be changed and they corrected it with out a lot of hassle about it. The breakfast had a variety of options. i was impressed with the Turkey sausage not being over cooked like most people do. Variety of spices like cranberry, seeds, graham cracker, etc.. for use with oatmeal or yogurt. The room was not thoroughly clean, paper on side of bed and by head board the bed sham was dirty. The heat worked great in room and everything was functional in bathroom. The microwave and Refrigerator was greatly need and appreciated. Requested extra towel sets and they were warm when brought to the room. Every staff member i came across was friendly and personable.
