It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. "Location was perfect for Welshpool. Charlie was welcoming, efficient and friendly. We had lunch when we arrived. The food was excellent and inexpensive. Breakfast was not as good as the staff member was inattentive. I chose from a varied menus of cooked breakfast scrambled egg on toast which was served badly cooked and dry on dry toast. There was also a selection of cereals and juices to choose from. The room was small but well decorated and comfortable with a bright and clean en suite. The bar was welcoming and well stocked. Overall a good experience and I would definitely return but without choosing scrambled egg for breakfast."
