Pretty location and convenient to everything. The bed and linens were not cozy, towels were old and hard. The room could use a deep clean. The staff was friendly though.

Our stay was great! Surprisingly not a lot of guests there which offered a lot of privacy. The quality of the linens (both bed & bathing towels) could have been better. Some of the towels had stains and were not as soft. I would have also loved if there was a fitted sheet on the bed. Beach chair voucher card and towels daily were a huge bonus. I loved the outdoor space (spa). Was not heated like a typical hot tub but with the heat we didn’t need it. Would stay again, especially for the good price I paid.

Property was super cute, and the staff couldn’t have been more hospitable. We had isssues with our flights requiring a very late check in (3am) as well a very early check out (5am). Staff easily accommodated. When our initial return flight got delayed in the middle of the night, they were able to contact the cab company and reschedule. They made they entire stay so easy and seamless. Whenever I’m back in Miami Beach, I will definitely stay at The Cadet again!

It's a great hotel with a character and great ownership. We enjoyed staying there: service is impeccable thanks to Ray, Maria, and Vivian, and, of course, hotel's owner. We came way before check-in time, and they were able to accommodate us right away, so we didn't lose an hour of sunshine. Rooms are comfortable and very well maintained. Although the building is not the youngest, it has Art Deco character and is famous because of Clark Gable's stay. Close to the beach with loungers provided. Excellent breakfast with fruit salad and perfectly brewed espresso (hotel has own medium roasted perfect coffee beans). Very friendly and professional staff I already mentioned. We would love to stay longer!

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The staff was nice. However they are normally booked so don't expect early check-in. The hotel is small and quite which is great when you been out all day. There is a $100 fee for incidentals that they hold and $37.50 resort fee (the resort fee is non refundable). However almost as soon as I landed back home I was refunded. No microwave or coffee maker in the room and no elevator that was a big bummer. No full length mirror in the room. A full length mirror is a must. However it's a 7minute walk from Miami Beach and a 10 minute LYFT or 39min walk from the beautiful south Pointe beach. The hotel restaurant was tasty and I would book here again. I hope they listen to the feedback and make these minor changes to create a 5 star experience.

This was my second time staying at the cadet hotel and again, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The front desk staff are extremely pleasant and the rooms are super comfy. I loved my bathroom and the water pressure of the shower. I would stay in this hotel again when I come back to south beach :)

Great location, room below average

The staff was super friendly and location was perfect. The hotel had a cozy patio and access to chairs at the beach, but the rooms need substantial work to demand $150-$200 nightly rate (linens were bad quality + had stains, blinders did not work, etc).

Kleines gemütliches Hotel

Das kleine gemütliche Hotel liegt schön ruhig und man ist trotzdem schnell am Strand und auch am Ocean Drive. Uns wurde zum Empfang ein Obstteller und zwei Flaschen Wasser gereicht. Ganz toll fanden wir die kostenlosen Liegen am Strand.

The hotel was cute and had a great location. Staff was overall friendly but I wouldn't say helpful. There really should be Bellhop service since there isn't an elevator. I found it interesting that it is advertised as having a pool and bar but it's actually a big jacuzzi and there is a little bar with alcohol, but no bar tender or even mixers? Also it should be easier to get a cup of coffee in the morning, maybe in the lobby or put coffee makers in the rooms for folks who like to roll out of bed and drink coffee? Everything just felt a bit unaccessible.

quaint...breakfast patio was very peaceful..but the waitress didnt get our order right 1/2 the time...so we ate down the street.. very noisy upstairs and at our end of the hallway,,with the exit door right there...front desk staff was very nice and helpful..
