Unbeatable location for tourism or social or business appointments in the south. Budget (so no conditioner, blow dryer of low-wattage, pragmatic but charmless decor), but upper end of budget (so real cups and glasses in the room, not throwaway; ample size). 1 star off for offering bottled water (plastic bottles pollute) instead of, like Hyatt House, providing potable water on tap. 1 star off for fouled up wiring in room 408 (light switches don't control the correct lights). 1 star back for unusually kind bartender Dec 20 late afternoon and surprise cookies, coffee, tea, and fruit in the hallway near the elevator in the morning.
