I have been travelling to Mexico for almost 30 years. This was the best experience ever. This unique property is absolutely fabulous. The owner attends to every detail, and when contacted by Whatsapp reponds almost immediately. I will only stay here in the future. Everything was clean, and working properly. Excellent WiFi in the rooms. Kitchen available. Only 4 rooms, beautifully done. Great linens, spotless maintenance. Highly recommended

Lovely place in a great location in Coyoacán, walking distance to Frida Khalo s house and great dinning. I rented the 2 bed, 1 bath, but to my surprise, the bathroom was outside in a common area although technically only we could use it. If I had known I would have rented a different room/property as we wanted the privacy of having the bathroom in our private room. The rooms are nice, nothing fancy. The staff is very responsive, kind and professional. I would stay here but not in the 2 bed/1 bath

Perfect Mexico City Stay

Amazing place! Yes, there’s no reception, but very good communication over text if you need anything. I honestly preferred the freedom of just coming and going without seeing anynybody. They were ther on my check out and kept our luggage for ours to go the Museo de Frida Kahlo. Clean, pretty and comfortable, I was expecting a noisy city night, but the silence was amazing. It has the best location so close to plaza de Coayacán restaurants and very good cafes. Many options. I absolutely recommend it. Coayacán is a place of Mexico City everybody recommends to visit and the bet place where to stay.

As stated by other reviewers, check-in could be hassle since this is a small casa and one person manages everything from cleaning/prep/checking in etc. If the person is not responding, just wait since the person might be on a quick errand or in the bath, etc. The entrance doesn't have a proper sign or address number. Once checked-in, everything was smooth. Common area has a full kitchen where we could do a serious cooking. We had the two-room suite which was awkward to have the second room connected through the hallway. It was still a beautiful stay in the heart of Coyoacan.

My flight was canceled so I was unable to stay at Casa Tonal. I booked the room through Expedia and when I contacted Casa Tonal and told them that I was unable to make it. They told me to contact Expedia about a refund. Expedia told me that it was up to the hotel to refund me my money. Don’t stay here. They are very unsympathetic to situations like canceled flights.

Todo muy bien, el sitio está muy bien ubicado, limpio y en buenas condiciones, quizás la única observación es que en la aplicación se menciona que cuenta con estacionamiento y no es verdad, tienen una opción pero además de que tiene un costo no es en el mismo sitio.
