I called to cancel my reservation and the woman said my trip wasn’t even booked. Then she told me she’d call me back after she got ahold of her manager and she didn’t. But, this morning it showed I was still charged for the room so I’m not sure how that happened if “I wasn’t even booked in the system”

Reasons my kids were disappointed (and insisted I should review): the pool was closed, the room was dirty, the fire alarm was missing from the ceiling, no breakfast, no WiFi, and the bed top blanket was very thin (and gross). Happy to give them a “typical hotel experience” so they can grow up jaded and be delighted by even nominal hotel amenities. (For it’s cheapness, closeness to Chicago and it being a night where we checked in very late and left very early, it was serviceable, though).

Clean it up

It look like the hotel was in the middle of a remodel with no signage advising such. The carpet along the way to the room had what appeared to be bleach stains next to almost every room door. I had to ask for towels for the room. The front desk attendants didn’t seem very helpful.

Horrible They give us a room with no heat nd internet connection then give us a room across from me when I asked to be upstairs. I feel like they are racist. The room they moved us too still no internet connection the pool is down most horrible experience in a hotel that I ever been too

Couldn’t reach hotel to let them know I wouldn’t be in till mid morning. When I arrive it takes someone 20 minutes to attend to me. The luggage cart was broke. The guy who checked me in, watched me struggle getting all my luggage out. Carpet was nasty, Room smelt funky. Door and walls damaged. Lock not very secure. Not once in my seven day stay did they clean my room or make my bed. Not sure if that was good or bad. Trash never emptied. Key kept being deactivated. Chair in room nasty. Towels looked dingy.

I went specifically to take a swim since hotel.com was advertising a pool I get there check in get comfortable and went to the pool just to be disappointed there was no pool the pool room was trashed so I wasted my good money on nothing then the rooms are mediocre the beds should be removed and replaced ASAP I’ve never seen a actually bed box spring look so nasty and dirty until I went to the roadway inn i will not be going back like ever also the toilets should be cleaned a tad bit better starting off with getting the back of the toilet and around it on the floor

Save your money and sleep in your car!!!

Room was disgusting, the smell was terrible, beds were uncomfortable, pubic hairs left in the shower, peephole didn’t work, floors were dirty. Staff lied to me 10 min prior to booking about there being a hot tub. The reason I chose this hotel was because I wanted to relax in a hot tub. There was Ice outside both of the doors. They took the time to print sheets of paper warning about the ice but didn’t bother to put down some salt. Reservation was non refundable. I would have rather slept in my car.

The pool area was ice cold. My room stayed cold, as well as the hallways. We had to ask for towels in which a work went in a room that had towels all on the floor folded some and brought us towels. The Wifi did not work and the room smelled of smoke, mold and mildew. I really wish i could get my money back. We picked the location for a pool we couldn't use.

I know this hotel is under new management and I was hoping to see improvements. When did this hotel start requiring a $40 deposit even for Expedia prepaid guest. This was not required the last time I was here. Bed spreads were tattered and stained. Location is great for me but I don’t think I’ll return.

Room had bugs crawling the walls when I cut on the lights in the middle of the night. Vending machines was down. The carpet on the 1st floor hallway was filthy. Don’t flat iron your hair in the room because the housekeepers will accuse you of smoking cigarettes when it’s time to checkout.

I arrived back to the hotel at 5am. Exhausted, I told the front desk guy I wanted an extr night so I didn’t have to wake up and check out at 11. He refused to let me pay then. Theanager came at 9 am, woke me up, and asked for payment then. I was upset. I tried to put the night before,But clearly he was incompetent. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Not much to like. The gentleman that checked us in didn't talk other than to ask for the things he needed. I had to ask if he needed anything else. Was very slow to return my license and CC. The swimming pool was closed and doesn't have continental breakfast. It looks like a very nice hotel and was not even busy when we arrived.
