Creekside Amish Log Cabin
It does not get any better than this! Our hand-crafted Amish Log Cabin is the perfect place to bring family or friends for peace and relaxation or some great outdoor adventures! The 10 x 30 deck that overlooks Hales Creek is the place where you'll want to sit and watch the sunset and unwind after a day of exploring all that the area has to offer. In the evening, load up the fire pit and toast a marshmallow or two! We built the cabin into the hillside, so you'll walk into the main level which has the large open great room, kitchen and dining area that also goes out to the large back deck that overlooks the creek below. The lower level has the 3 bedrooms, each with a separate walkout door to the lower patio. 2 of the bedrooms have custom built bunkbeds with a full top and full bottom and shared bathroom, while bedroom number 3 has it's own full bath and bed. So if stairs are in issue, please ask about one of my other cabins!
Only minutes away you can find lakes and rivers to swim, boat, canoe or fish. Or take that ATV/UTV right from the cabin to the hundreds of miles of ATV trail that go through Jackson and Clark County. For those that enjoy winter sports, cross country ski trails (there is an annual moonlight snow shoe event!!), bring your snowmobiles or go down the road to Bruce Mound for sking and snow-tubing. Explore the hiking trails of the Levis Trow Mound . Majestic Pines casino is nearby along with many other local attractions, fairs and restaurants. Try a Friday fish fry, homemade pizza or a Saturday prime rib and then know you can come back to listen to the sounds of the woods.

We came north for a little winter get away and the weather was really cold. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed and was toasty warm. Thank you for allowing our dogs to be part of our getaway fun!
Spent 3 nights here with some old friends and did some grouse hunting in the area. This cabin was awesome for our needs. Super comfortable and great sleeping arrangements for our group of 4. Beautiful location with a nice back deck to have a drink, watch the sunset, and recap on all the birds we missed. The only negative was the amount of flies (both alive and dead). But we’d definitely consider this place again.
The cabin was everything that it said it was. It fit all our needs and was very charming. Right on trails. Close to restaurants. Quite and away from people. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing it with us.
We came to go UTVing on Memorial wknd and to also celebrate a 30th birthday. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Plenty of room to put a puzzle together or play games. Downstairs bedrooms a little cramped. Wouldn’t suggest any elderly people staying here but was fine for us. Would stay again.
Great location right on UTV trail. Cabin is a little closer to the road than you would think. Lots of parking for your trailers. Owners were easy to get a hold of. We had an unpredictable water issue. They had someone there in under 15 minutes to fix it. We loved our stay! The third bathroom is a huge plus when you travel with multiple men.
I’d like to start with the positives first by saying this is a lovely property with beautiful views. It’s charming and quiet. We sincerely enjoyed our time there as a family and are thankful for the opportunity to have been able to come together after the loss of my grandmother. The unit was clean and well stocked.
I would highly advise however, if anyone has small children, elderly travelers or people with limited mobility or knee troubles to seriously consider their stay.
The bedrooms are all located downstairs and the stairs are steep and spaced far apart. My mother has a bad knee and really struggled. The beds are set up well but could use a good update, they’re all very hard and not what I’d consider comfortable. The master shower is a high side that makes it difficult to get in and the other shower has slopped concrete that is very uncomfortable to stand on.
This was by far the CLEANEST unit we’ve stayed in which was very appreciated. The large kitchen table made for the perfect place to come together and enjoy company.
Overall a beautiful location and worth the charges if you can overlook some of the less convenient amenities.
Cabin was clean & well stocked with necessities. Nice outdoor areas. Comfortable living spaces & sleeping accomodations. Super easy check-in & check-out process. Loved all the rustic wood & decor!
A nice place. We loved the open kitchen, dining, and living space. We enjoyed the perfect weather grilling, playing yard games, and chilling on the porches. The feel small with the big double sized bunk beds, but the bunk beds are good.

Beautiful and spacious, nice furniture and bedding, big open kitchen & open concept upstairs w/huge table. Front porch is long, with swing & bench; firepit with 4 benches & picnic table. Back porch is also lenth of cabin & overlooks creek. Several rockers & table& chairs.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds comfortable. It would have been nice to know the bedrooms are all downstairs. Sufficient toilet paper should be available. Also the master bedroom needs closet space.
