The property benefits from double height ceilings throughout, giving a wonderful sense of space.

Five generous double bedrooms and three bathrooms are located downstairs, while the living room, bespoke designer kitchen and one further bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs. This layout provides significant privacy and quiet to the sleeping areas. Every window or balcony in the property offers black-out electric shutters to allow a restful night’s sleep.

Upon entering the luxury penthouse, the open plan Living and Kitchen area sets the scene for year-round relaxation and entertaining. Please be advised that this property is in a peaceful, residential area of Menaggio. The apartment has been designed with families in mind and is not suitable for guests seeking to use the house for loud parties, or hen / stag weekends. The penthouse is part of a small condominium building with two other apartments, so the common spaces must be shared fairly, and excessive noise must be restricted between 10pm and 8am. A copy of the building rules is available on request, and in any event will be provided in advance of your stay once you have booked.

Situated along a secondary road on the Menaggio hillside, the modern residence places guests within easy reach of the resort’s lakeside centre (a 2-minute drive/15-minute stroll away).
There, a host of supermarkets, delicatessens, boutique gift shops, café-lined piazzas, a family-friendly lido and an authentic array of Italian restaurants and bars await guests’ enjoyment!

The local resort town offers many leisure pursuits to enjoy, including kayaking, lake swimming, classic lido moments, power boat rentals, fishing and cycling. Como city (60 minutes’ drive away) can easily be reached via road, bus, or fast passenger ferry from Menaggio ferry stop. Milan is 1.5 hours’ drive away (and can also be reached just across the lake, by taking the train from Varenna, or by hopping on one of the frequent trains from S. Giovanni station in Como). The closest airports to Menaggio are Milan Malpensa (85 minutes’ drive) and Lugano Airport (50 minutes’ drive).
