"Lovely three day stay in Menaggio where we really enjoyed the hotel. The property sits on the water and a sweet square, full of life, dog walking and beautiful views. Hotel Du Lac is like an inn, with a small coffee cafe restaurant on property. Everything we had there was wonderful, and the view of the lake and activity on the walkway was lovely. Special thanks to employee Faisal who was patient with me when I called being"lost" at another property of the same name in another lake town. He was kind, got us on the right ferry and welcomed us when we arrived at the front desk. He also was our server for a quick lunch upon arrival, and we felt well taken care of. Overall a quiet little town, not as crowded as some of the more known towns, and we highly recommend the town and Hotel Du Lac."

"You cant beat the location of this hotel, right next ro the train and boat station, right next to Piazza de Duomo and all the shops and restaurants. Just walk out and you are on the waterfront! Breakfast is great, staff are lovely and most of the hotel has been refurbished and is looking great! Some areas I imagine are still needing to be done, but does not spoil the stay. The room is large and the bathroom is clean and fresh (massive bathtub, the shower space is a little small, but again absolutely fine). We loved our stay here and recommend it 100%!"

"Outstanding experience. Beautiful classic hotel. The view is stunning. The restaurant is one of the best in Lake Como. The staff is way above the average regarding attention and kindness. "The staff at the hotel were all SO wonderful and kind and helpful. The ladies at the front desk helped us with all of our needs. From bus schedules to things to do. The room itself was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a king sized bed (which is rare in Europe). Breakfast every morning was delicious. The location is perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"

"The hotel was cute, with good views from the restaurant. The staff was nice. It is up on the hill, so the town is not easily accessible. What is not listed, and should be, is how to get to the hotel. Uber, Lyft, public transportation was not an option for us. But, I called the hotel and they have a free shuttle. There was nothing on the listing as it would have been helpful to know. The shuttle is free and takes you to and from town."
