Wonderful location and property. Staff were so attentive, greeting us you upon arrival and throughout our stay. They went out of their way to ensure we were having a great stay. Super clean, comfy beds, great food, amenities walks, views, such a wonderful place. I was only booked for three nights and ended up staying for 6, ha ha....be back again on my next trip

Everything about the property surpassed our expectations. The property was beautiful and clean and very well kept. The cuisine was delicious especially Kathleen's Kitchen which we dined at 3 nights. The Carriage House Pantry had the best cappuccino I've ever had and they offered a wide range of food options for breakfast and lunch. The spa was incredible and quiet with full use of the pool, hot tub and steam room/sauna. The staff was AMAZING too many to count but some of the memorable ones were, Ann (Manager) Jake, Terrance, Brian, (doormen/concierge) Katie (masseuse) wait staff in Kathleen's and so many others. I would say the only thing missing is a gelato bar in the lobby. Other than that if you are looking to stay just for golf or as a couple looking for a quieter stay this is the place! It's rich with history and you can almost feel the aristocrats there with you as you walk the halls.

The breakfast was previously in Kathleen’s kitchen and was the primary reason we rebooked - this time it was in the golf club and it was terrible - both service and food quality. The Carton House was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. The staff were attentive and kind, the hotel itself is gorgeous, and they have the most beautiful walking trails into the nearby town of Maynooth. We had an early flight with our young children in the morning, and the staff prepared breakfast to go for the car. Every detail was on point. Would recommend and stay at the Carton House again!
