"Beautiful, quiet setting. The drive into town is deceiving when you look at the miles. It takes 25 mins. The staff was lovely, the food was good, the grounds were amazing. We road the bikes, used the kayak and paddle boards. We especially loved the dock for viewing sea creatures. "

"We had an AMAZING stay at Itz’ana!! We were impacted by winter storms in the southeast and missed our first night. They gave us a credit equal to the value of the night for food and drinks at the resort. They were responsive prior and during our trip. Truly wonderful service. The grounds themselves were gorgeous. I felt clean and safe the whole time. The food was good. Highly recommend "

"Nice greeting from the staff as we entered. Pretty and spacious rooms, most with balconies overlooking the pool and sea. Bikes, kayaks available for free or rent a fishing pole and go fishing. Restaurant offered delicious breakfast and has live entertainment on some nights. The pool is smaller but very nice with a swim up bar. Plenty of lounges available around the pool or right on the beach. 20/25 minute walk to the center od town or rent a golf cart from the resort. "

"Jimena was quick to respond to whatever we needed to ask her. Casa Maya is spacious, lots of room to spread out or be all together! Furnishings were lovely and comfortable. So much to look at! The kitchen was well equipped. And of course the location cannot be beat! "

"Great stay staff were all wonderful room was clean and spacious. Restaurant was awesome both food and service. Pool was large has a swim up bar. We were welcomed on arrival by an alligator (leave him alone and he’ll leave you alone) and lots of Iguana’s. Would recommend renting a vehicle or golf cart the village is about a 30 minute drive. "
